Chapter no.48 Life is Unfair

When the children were "saved" from the clutches of the sinister Black Lotus cult's demon prison cave, they were whisked away to the enigmatic Wailing Isle.

Upon their arrival, they were greeted with a hedonistic doctrine that appealed to their senses:

"Sleep when you want to sleep. Eat when you want to eat. Play when you want to play. Live the way you want to live."

The children, who had suffered unimaginable pain and torment in that dark prison, felt that they deserved such an extravagant and carefree existence. After all, they had been wronged by the world, and surely they were entitled to a life of luxury and indulgence to compensate for their previous suffering.

Yet, many children couldn't help but question the very foundation of their newfound paradise. If they allowed themselves to entertain doubts for even a moment, it became painfully clear that the Wailing Isle was nothing more than a hedonistic prison, a gilded cage.
