Kill First

"What's going on?"

Standing at the front of the Domination Guild formation, Unyielding Tyrant sensed the commotion from behind and asked in a deep voice.

"Guild leader, we're under attack! Someone's trying to steal our boss!"

Silver Spear, a key guild member, shouted in frustration. "It's that damn thief!"

"Take a team and wipe him out immediately! We're at a crucial moment—we can't let him interfere!"

"Yes, sir!"

Silver Spear quickly gathered his men and rushed toward the disturbance.

At that moment, Zane had already cut down over a dozen squishy players in an instant. Panic spread like wildfire—players ran in all directions, scrambling to escape.

"Bastard!"

A heavily armored warrior was the first to react. With a shield in one hand and a war hammer in the other, he charged forward and swung with Punishing Blow, a high-impact stun skill.

But just as the war hammer was about to land—

Zane vanished.

Backstab!

He reappeared behind the tank, striking with a precise and deadly blow.

-4120 (Critical)

-440 (Poison Damage)

A guaranteed critical hit—combined with his high-end gear bonuses—the damage was devastating. The tank was instantly deleted from the battlefield.

"Oh my god!"

Gasps erupted from the surrounding players, their eyes wide with shock.

"Who are you?! Why are you attacking us?"

"Wait… it's him! The invisible assassin! There's no doubt about it—he's finally revealed himself!"

Just then, Silver Spear arrived with reinforcements, his face twisted with rage.

"So it's you—that sneaky little bastard!"

His gaze locked onto Zane with pure hatred. "Surround him!"

Zane merely smirked before vanishing into thin air.

"Careful! He's in stealth!"

"Stay calm!"

Silver Spear barked orders. "Mages, activate Arcane Sight! Archers, fire Scout Arrows!"

Both were Tier-1 detection skills—any Level 10 mage or archer could learn them.

Immediately, the sky lit up with glowing arrows and eerie magical eyes, scanning the battlefield.

"There you are—huh?"

Just as Silver Spear and his team expected him to be exposed, reality slapped them in the face.

There was nothing.

He was nowhere to be seen.

Zane's Stealth skill had long since evolved beyond Tier-1 detection methods. Their low-level tracking abilities were useless against him.

"This doesn't make sense!"

Silver Spear was stunned.

His teammates—some ready to cast control spells, others finally regaining composure—were just as confused.

"Ahhh!"

A scream tore through the battlefield.

Everyone turned toward the sound—just in time to see a priest vanish into a pillar of white light.

A flash of black steel. A silent execution.

Zane had already slipped into the healer's ranks, reaping lives like a grim reaper.

Each hit triggered an ambush strike, dealing massive burst damage.

Not just priests—mages, archers, and even rogues who thought they were clever by stealthing nearby were all exposed and slaughtered under Zane's True Sight passive.

With each kill, his Shadow Kill passive activated—keeping him invisible and untouchable.

"Listen up! The moment he attacks, focus fire in that direction! We have auto-correct targeting—no friendly fire risk!"

Silver Spear issued an emergency command.

Immediately, spells and arrows rained down on the location where their allies had just died.

But Zane had already moved.

Every time he killed, he shifted instantly, making their desperate attacks hit nothing but air.

Meanwhile, his decoy clone—positioned elsewhere—continued its guerrilla-style harassment, striking from the shadows.

With Zane disrupting their rear lines, Domination Guild's offense began to crumble.

Even worse—the Flamewing Tiger sensed their weakness and launched a brutal counterattack, tearing into their frontlines.

Suddenly, the battle was spiraling out of control.

"Unyielding Tyrant! What the hell is going on back there?!"

"Skyfall and Domination—are you two screwing around right now?!"

From the frontlines, Blood Rose and Prince—leaders of the Fireworks and Skyfall Guilds—sent urgent messages.

Domination Unyielding Tyrant: "It's the Invisible Assassin! He's causing chaos in our ranks!"

Skyfall Prince: "That guy's insane! He's staying stealthed no matter what we do! How the hell is that even possible?!"

"It's him?!"

Blood Rose's expression hardened. "Forget him! Focus everything on killing the boss!"

"Easier said than done! That demon can even one-shot our tanks! My people are dying left and right!"

The battlefield was now a disaster zone.

Domination Guild was in full disarray—no one could restore order.

Amid the chaos, Zane closed in on his true target.

"Take out Unyielding Tyrant, and their entire command structure collapses. Then let's see how they handle this mess."

Staying hidden through Shadow Kill, Zane moved swiftly.

Even though his Stealth duration had expired, the extra invisibility from Shadow Kill kept him concealed.

Even if he somehow got revealed—he could instantly re-enter stealth.

For a rogue, Shadow Kill was an absolute god-tier ability.

At the front, Unyielding Tyrant realized his team was losing control of the fight. Frustrated, he finally gave the order:

"Forget the boss! Pull back and regroup!"

That was the opening Zane needed.

Silently slipping behind Unyielding Tyrant, he struck with Backstab.

A chill ran down Unyielding Tyrant's spine.

"Die."

-3988

-440 (Poison Damage)

A critical strike—even with top-tier gear, Unyielding Tyrant fell instantly.

Zane vanished again.

"Guild leader is down!"

"Damn it! You sneaky rat!"

"Shit—who's in command now?!"

Panic spread like wildfire.

At the same time—without Domination Guild's firepower, the Flamewing Tiger unleashed devastation.

A single Windfire Impact blasted through their frontlines, incinerating dozens.

"Haha! Now this is fun!"

Zane laughed, retreating to the edge of the battle while continuing his one-man massacre.

"Focus the boss!"

Despite Domination Guild's meltdown, Blood Rose and Prince kept pushing toward the weakened boss.

Seeing this, Zane made his next move.

Instead of finishing off the collapsing Domination Guild, he vanished into Skyfall Guild's formation.

Skyfall Prince and his sister, Skyfall Princess, stood in the center.

Skyfall Prince raised his ornate silver staff, preparing a spell.

Beside him, Skyfall Princess nocked an arrow.

A black blade flashed.

Slash!

Skyfall Prince's HP hit zero—he vanished into a pillar of light.

"Ahhh!"

Skyfall Princess and her allies panicked.

"Run!"

"Screw the boss! He's a monster!"

The entire Skyfall Guild broke formation.

Grinning wickedly, Zane slid behind Skyfall Princess.

"Such a pretty little neck. Let's fix that."

His dagger sliced cleanly across her throat.

Dead.

With their leaders gone, Skyfall Guild collapsed.

The battlefield was now a total free-for-all—exactly what Zane wanted.
