Lin Family's Great Library

Lin Xiang put away the universal soul link back into his soul and slowly stood up.

A flash of radiance streaked across his eyes. He spoke so much about discovering passion and finding more information. Now it was time for him to put his own words into practice. Learning from whatever source that he can. Never disdaining on information even if this was a 2nd rate city.

Lin Xiang decided on a new destination. He took one last look around the room, a touch of remembrance filling his eyes. This was his foundation, his spring step for a far grander future.

With Heavenly energy fueling his steps, Lin Xiang silently left his room. Like ghosts and gods, he rushed through the corridor and traveled right back to the Lin Family manor plaza.

This time, he set his eyes on a row of building to the right side.

Many Lin members could be seen walking in and out of the building. From Body Training to Profound realm members. To even the high and mighty Heavenly Origin Elders.

An interesting thing to note was the fact that all Heavenly Origin Elders needed to walk while entering these buildings. It was absolutely forbidden to fly in here, as per the ancient rules of the Lin Family.

Right here was the great library of the Lin Family. A wonderful place filled with the grand history of the Lin Family and the spirit tier and low-grade heavenly tier cultivation arts.

Lin Xiang silently traveled over, every move of his going completely undetected. He wasn't even discovered by the early layer Heavenly Origin Elders.

Entering the great library, Lin Xiang was hit with a cool, refreshing wave of air. This air was distinctly different from the outside world. Abstract essence of concepts was fueled into the air.

Very subtle, to a point where no Profound realm cultivator can distinctly make it out. Even early to mid-layer Heavenly Origin experts would have no idea of this abstract essence.

But for Lin Xiang, he was a bit surprised. 'The Law runes covering this place must've been put down by a slightly talented Heavenly King. It can have great effects on an early layer Heavenly King's Spiritual Sea.'

The abstract essence in the air could make one's mind more focused, and sharper to paying attention to the tiniest detail. Their Spiritual Sea perception abilities will be gradually amplified, having at least two times greater effect than what they can achieve by cultivating on their own!

Such an environment would be extremely special for a middle-rate place like the Lin Family. It also wasn't a wonder why hundreds of Lin Family members had gathered here.

Furthermore, despite being overly large, the interior still held the same luxurious quality as other buildings. In fact, this was more special than others.

Every Law rune inscribed across the wall, ground, and ceilings glistened with hypnotic, radiant shine. Such high and glorious shines certainly have the ability to lull a person's mind into an enlightening trance.

An average cultivator could consider this place as an absolute goldmine of cultivation! They would be able to progress several times faster in here than in the outside world.

Lin Xiang evidently wouldn't see any considerable progress. All of his innate abilities far surpass the standard of the great library.

Still, even knowing this, Lin Xiang wanted to study the fire-related and ice-related cultivation arts here. Even these average texts could inspire enlightenment.

With a silent step, Lin Xiang swiftly traveled through the great library. He was really glad that he had reached the Heavenly Origin realm before coming here. Nobody could stop him from exploring what he wanted to explore.

Compared to others, Lin Xiang had a much easier time selecting cultivation arts fitted for him.

But as he was about to trail up to the front counter, a sudden commotion rocked throughout the entirety of the great library!

"Ah! It's the Heavenly Lin geniuses! What are they doing here...are they actually here for the trials?"

"It must be! There are even the factions Elder from Great Elder Hai's side. They're really planning to cause a huge event today."

"They feel so much more boundless compared to just days ago. Did they make a breakthrough? If so, their chances of completing the library trails are extremely high!"

Word of mouth quickly spread through the great library. Youngsters and Elders alike became greatly interested in the center of the library.

Lin Xiang's gut reaction was to ignore them. However, his mind suddenly recalled his karmic mission. A faint stirring stimulated his mind, prompting him to also move along to the center of the great library.

Silently shuffling through the crowds of people, Lin Xiang soon witnessed a group of extreme cultivators.

Each and every single one of them walked with an unfathomable grace. Their steps radiated the faint presence of the grand Laws. They simply couldn't be understood by Profound realm cultivators or early and middle layer Heavenly Origin experts!

Just being in their general vicinity would melt apart cultivators' protective energy. Mortals would go straight to their knees.

One was a gorgeous young woman, a top-tier beauty even when compared to other beauties.

While the other was a handsome young man, sharp and refined, greater than that of a clean sword.

These two were the Heavenly Lin geniuses, Lin Guo and Lin Wu.

Surrounding the Lin geniuses were two middle-aged men and one middle-aged woman. Each of them was extremely profound. Their depths were as great as a mountain. They even felt faintly superior to the late-layer Heavenly Origin experts from the Sacred Moon School!

They were the highest Elders under Great Elder Hai's faction.

In just a second of seeing them, Lin Xiang understands the whole picture. He remarked to himself, 'Great Elder Hai is the strongest of the three leading factions of the Lin Family. They foster the highest talents of this family. And most importantly, their ancestor gave Hai's bloodline the right to use the library trials, for some reason. And those library trials...'

Lin Xiang tossed his eyes beyond the group walking. They were heading up to a radiantly shining set of stairs. Every single stair was engraved with the highest amount of Law runes.

The essence of these Law runes was far too complex, far beyond the means ordinary Spiritual Seas can possibly perceive.

Leading up these stairs was a mysterious fog space. Powerful manipulation of the laws was withheld in it. A step through the fog space would bring any cultivator into a new dimension.

This was the library trial every Lin family member was in great reverence for.

While watching the Heavenly Lin geniuses, every single youth there was blazing in roaring excitement!

"If they could actually complete the trials, we can finally prove that our generation far surpasses the old! Just completing the 4th set had formed a leading Great Elder!"
