Lin Xiang and Xie Ya casually made their way through Jewel Sky City. They took faint notice of the abundance of different shops and vendors populating the streets. It was at a greater number than the sects or family clan residencies. 

Xie Ya hummed with a thoughtful expression. 'They say that Jewel Sky City is a game changer for any average or ordinarily talented cultivator. They claim to have practically everything to jumpstart a cultivator's journey. Seeing all these children's and elders' hopeful faces, I can at least say they have decent publicity for themselves.' 

Resources and trade can be mighty in their own way. At the very least, many would be quick to come to Jewel Sky City if trouble were to arise. And not many would be willing to cause trouble for fear of bringing a disaster upon themselves.
