A Little Trip

Not far from them, Lin Xiang, Lin Ping, and Gi Zuo calmly meditated on their own Dao Laws, their minds focused on the intricacies of the universe, seeking to unravel the mysteries of existence itself. They were practically waiting for the Core Domain's next move, a sense of anticipation hanging heavy in the air.

During his meditation, Lin Xiang received a mental ping from his soul, a familiar sensation that he recognized instantly. It was a message from Huo Shu of the Huo cousins, a duo that he had come to respect and admire. 

He instantly recalled the Huo duo's extreme luck in avoiding death and gaining opportunities, as well as their intuition that could seemingly predict events, a gift that had served them well in the past. 

After sending them on an expedition to increase their cultivation, he hadn't heard from them since. But apparently, they had returned, a development that filled him with a sense of curiosity.
