The entire hall was silent for a long time after the tape ended. No one knew what to say. They accused the previous chancellor of stealing the fund and treated him horribly when it was Grey all along.

He was even bold enough to steal it in front of him. Grey went to see the previous chancellor at his house, and said that he had to talk to him urgently.

While they were speaking in the living room, the previous chancellor's eunuch stole the money. As soon as he left the living room, the eunuch handed the money to Grey.

Grey, of course, paid him handsomely and left with the papers he pretended to need. Since he never left the living room, the previous chancellor never suspected him.
