Obedience is as much a virtue as silence and I believe if more people took the time to listen humans would exist a lot longer on this ever-changing planet, honestly, it was simple instruction or at least I tried to make it as simple as possible. If they, whoever they were had just listened to me no one would be at the bottom of my house.

Let us go back to the night before.

My room got broken into at night, I couldn't be bothered to do anything as the house alarm would go off soon so I told the person to be quiet while I pretended I couldn't hear what was happening the idiot decided it would be much better to ignore my words and he ended up getting thrown out the window honestly they had to be the noisiest burglar in the history of burglars, I didn't do it though, my mom did, she heard the noises coming from my room so she came to see what I was doing and instead found a man in a mask sneaking past my bed. I got up early the next day so I could get to school a bit earlier and also so I could leave my house before the three musketeers found me and robbed me of the little energy I managed to gather through the night. Mom left a bit early today thankfully she made breakfast before leaving, if she had left it to Dad I would be going to school hungry today.

Before I left I went to see if the guy from earlier was still there, he wasn't there though but he seemed to have left something behind, at first I thought it was a smartwatch but looking closely I found out it was a lot more complicated than a simple smartwatch it was particularly big kind of thing like one of those ancient phones from the 1800s I'm surprised I even remember what those look like, that's a long time ago. I decide to keep it with me for the meantime and quickly head to school.

School honestly was a bit better this morning since I didn't have any classes with the three musketeers in the morning but all that changed during lunch when the universe decided I had enjoyed myself too much.

"Silver there you are, I've been looking for you everywhere" Musketeer number 1

"oh cool you kept seats for us "Musketeer number 2

"Isn't she just the sweetest little thing underneath all that mysteriousness" Musketeer number 3

"oh hello, ladies i hope you don't mind me joining you today" and one annoying rat.

...I hope they aren't expecting me to say something cuz we've been seated here in awkward silence for the past 20 minutes, actually, silence is never awkward for me if anything I'm shocked that the table is just as quiet as it was when I was the only one here.

"so are you guys always this boring?" there goes my peace

"Huh? No, we're not we're just a little surprised to see you sitting here with us i mean it's not like we're popular or anything" Are you blushing Lia

"Yeah, she-she's right we were just curious" Kira? stuttering?

"ah, mhm yeah" Jimin? speechless? I must be in another universe or something

"oh well being the nice generous guy I am" pause

"I decided to grace you common people with my presence I'm sure I've made your year" Where'd the cocky attitude come from?

"You made my century" Kira please not the heart eyes I thought this couldn't get any worse...but it did.

"I'm sure I have, after all with this charm and good looks and incredible skill in everything" Stop acting like some kind of Greek god.

"Everything?"

"every single thing you can imagine did you know I can tie a perfect cherry knot with just my tongue" This is not that kind of story.

"Can I see?"

"Haruto please sit down you're attracting the attention of the entire cafeteria," I say a little annoyed....a little a lot.

"Silver, there's no way you're not charmed by him even a little bit, he's literally the perfect guy," Lia says gushing like an Idiot...

"she's right Silver~" why'd you say my name like that

"I'm the perfect man, perfect boyfriend, perfect, everything"

"hmm I'm sure you're a perfect ramen maker too" he freezes

"uh uh yeah I- I can try" 

"Really? What type of ramen I'm curious"

"Actually our food getting cold let's get to eating" Good it worked, that was my last card I don't think anything can Injure his ego, it was like a bulletproof machine gun, yeah you heard me, a bulletproof gun spreading chaos, and receiving 0.00 percent damage

"so how are you guys spending Chinese New Year" rest, snacks, television, food, more food, solitude, absolute heaven.

"I'm going to the fireworks festival at night"... I didn't know they had fireworks on Chinese New Year, then again I know very little to very nothing about Chinese culture, and no if you were wondering that wasn't a typo.

Anyway, they started yapping on and on about the thousands of activities they'd be carrying out on that day, I'm not willing to expend any more energy than I have to, go ahead and judge everyone...Including myself.

"hey, Silver are you listening?" no and please get your face away from mine.

"yes, why?"

"well what was the last thing I said," asks Haruto

"what was the last thing I said" 

"oh she really is Listening" I'm losing hope in humanity

"right so we were thinking of doing a kind of group meet-up at the festival"

"a meet-up?" I ask as I very obviously was not listening.

"yeah we'll tell Calypso and Kuro and Jin and Kalluto oh and Let's not forget Light and Jake, so, what do you think? are we forgetting someone?"

".....who are those people again?"

"wha- they are in our class" I'm really losing hope in humanity.
