"Go take a shower", said Iory to his sister, Ariy while wiping his hair.
"I'll go after you", Ariy replied while stretching her left leg on the couch. Iory walked towards her leg and pushed it towards her.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! What are you doing, you weirdo?!", she yelled while kicking Iory with all of her might using her right foot. "Go take a shower, you lazy bum! You smell like a sloth!", Iory defended himself from her kicks. The two of them eventually got tired and stopped. Iory took a sit on the couch in front of Ariy and continued wiping his hair.
"By the way, your phone rang when you were showering", said Ariy as she got up from the couch. Iory looked at his phone on the table and grabbed it. He received a message from an unidentified number. "Probably a spam", he thought as he left the message be.
"Ariy! Have you showered yet?", their mother shouted across the house.
"I'm about to shower now!", said Ariy with a black towel over her right shoulder. Iory walked towards her and placed his damp towel on top of his sister's head, causing her whole face to be covered.
Ariy gave out a low grunt as Iory smiled sheepishly at her and said, "thank you for your hard work, soldier"
She grabbed the towel from her head and rotated it until she formed a whip.
"I don't like where this is going", said Iory as he prepared to run away. Before he could make another move, Ariy snapped the towel against her brother's back. "Ow! You little brat!", he chased Ariy all around the house.
"Hahah! You can't catch me! You can't even catch your own love partner", she teased.
What she said made Iory flustered. "Huh?! You say that again, I dare you!", he yelled. "What a scary look!", Ariy laughed teasingly as she made a sudden turn to the bathroom.
"Come back here!"
Before Iory could could grab her, Ariy quickly shut the bathroom door. He could hear his sister giggling behind the door.
"Just you wait, Ariy"
Iory ran downstairs towards the fuse box in front of the basement. He opened the box and shut the power off. Not a second later, a loud scream could be heard throughout the house.
"Iory!"
Iory snickered and switched on the power again. Before he could fully turn around, a hand placed on top of his right shoulder. He immediately got goosebumps.
"Did you have fun?", was the last thing he heard before facing his fate.
"Ugh..that was hell", Iory sighed as he closed the door behind him. He was forced to wash the dishes as a punishment for messing around with the power box, especially when his father was watching football on television. "I'm beat!", he huffed as he fell on top of his bed. As he about to get some shut eye, his phone vibrated from his left pocket. "What is it now?", he grunted. He took his phone out and and saw a notification from an unidentified number. "2 messages from unknown number", he muttered. "Is this the same number that messaged me earlier?"
He tapped on the notification and read the received messages. "If you were a bear, you would be bear-y beautiful", he read out loud. Was it a prank or something? Whoever it is, the person seems like the type that uses puns as a joke.
"Might as well reply them back", he mumbled and typed, "didn't see that coming. Where did you get this number?"
He sent the message and waited for awhile. Three minutes goes by and the person have not yet replied. "Wait, what am I excited about?", he got tired of waiting. He decided to play a game called "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" on his nintendo switch. After what felt like hours, he checked his phone to see any response from the person. Sadly, there wasn't. "Did they left me on read or something?", he thought. He decided to shrugged it off and kept playing his game.
After two minutes, his phone vibrated. He immediately paused his gameplay and reached for his phone.
"I found it by the lake", he read the message. He sat down and typed, "wow, did you drowned?"
After sending his message, he instantly received the other person's response. The phone screen read, "I wanted to swim but I forgot how to drown. So instead, I flew across the lake"
While reading this, Iory chuckled to himself. "What a weird fellow", he thought. It might be his imagination but he felt like he had received this type of messages before. His mind subconsciously thought of Sara. "No way.. right?"
He looked back at the message and without realising, he tapped dial on the screen. "Uh oh..what should I do?", he got nervous and wanted to hang up but he decided to wait until the fifth ring.
Third ring..fourth ring..
"Another one and I'll hang up", he muttered. As the phone about to ring for the fifth time, the call was answered.
"Hello?", said the person on the other line. Their voice sounded like a young woman, which made Iory's heart skipped a beat as his mind constantly thought that it was Sara. He answered back, "Hi"
The person on the other line, Sara turned red after hearing Iory's raspy voice. "Wha.. why did you called?", she accidentally stammered. "Way to go! Now you sounded like a fool", she thought to herself, feeling embarrassed.
Iory, who immediately recognised Sara's voice responded, "nothing, just because.."
"Just because?", Sara repeated.
The two of them spent their night on the phone, talking about themselves while blushing constantly at each other until the day ends.
