Chapter 24

It really was her. My fury intensified. What was she doing here?

The first two times we met, I didn't believe it was a coincidence. Despite that, she had made it clear that she wasn't stalking us when we met in Italy. She had made it sound like her ending up as my daughter's nanny was a coincidence and it had made sense at the time—but not anymore.

How could she explain this meeting? Forget that. Why the hell would the daughter of a tycoon be a nanny? She had been planted in my family as a spy and no matter what she said, I couldn't believe otherwise.

Having heard Aurora's screech of excitement, she looked over and frowned as though we were the ones stalking her and not the other way around.

Of course, when my daughter saw her look over, it confirmed that it was her friend and she took off to say hello. I froze on the spot, seeing Bella pull her into her arms and hug her as though she had truly missed her.
