Chapter IX

"Issei check this out!" Raynare yells as she heals herself from a cut Yuuto inflicted on her. "Where's Yuuto and Koneko?!" Issei asks rather astonished. However Raynare ignores him as she continues to heal herself with her newfound powers. "Look at this. I can heal myself whenever I want. It's handy when you don't have the divine one's protection. Don't you think?" She says as she holds her hand over her arm, healing the wound instantly. "I'm finally ready to do the works of God now! And he'll let me back in." Issei looks at Raynare with a rather disbelief kind of rage. "What does that matter?" He asks.

"What?" Raynare asks slightly offended. "What does this have to do with Asia? She didn't harm anyone or care about power?" Raynare looks away from Issei with a rather saddened look on her face. "Unfortunately this is the fate of all who carry a sacred gear. I would rather it not come to this, but that is how the cookie crumbles." Issei's eyes suddenly glint a harsh emerald green color. "Oh you think this is for me?! You're foolish!" Issei charges his ability back up as he stares Raynare down. "She never would have used it, she just wanted to help others and live in peace! YOU'RE A MONSTER!" Raynare summons a light spear to deflect some of Issei's attacks. "Out of the question!" she roars. "EXCUSE ME?!" Issei snarls as he breaks through Raynare's light spear, causing her to retreat back. "Humans don't have the ability to survive in their world with these." Issei in a rage of furry extends his arms out both ways as he stares Raynare down. "So you just get to decide who lives and dies?!" Raynare flies over the boy as her wings extend. "If they used these for good they'd be seen as different and killed after being tortured out of fear from ignorance from their own kind." Issei suddenly hears Asia's words in his head repeat over and over.

They said anyone who had powers like me was a heretic so I had to flee.

Honestly I'd be happy to have any friends!

"That's just how you operate. It would have been an unfortunate waste of power." Issei holds back tears as his nails dig into his palm. "Tch, THAT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED! I CAN KILL AS I PLEASE I COULD HAVE PROTECTED HER! I'LL SHOW YOU!" Raynare summons another spear as her heart suddenly excelerates. "SHE'S DEAD! COLD AND LIFELESS LIKE A CORPSE! AND ALL YOU CAN GO ON ABOUT IS HOW YOU'D KILL FOR HER! HOW PATHETIC! WHAT DID SHE DO FOR YOU ANYWAYS?!" "She never betrayed me! YOU DID! YOU MADE ME THINK SHE BETRAYED ME BUT YOU DID! YOU'RE GONNA PAY YOU DEVIL! YOU'RE THE REAL DEVIL!" Raynare breaks into laughter as her violet eyes stare Issei down. Her fangs reveal her predator nature, her true nature, and her looks are able to seduce any sane man within a hundred miles of her. "You realize how psychotic you sound?! You wouldn't have been able to save her back then and you can't now!"

She smiles evilly as her eyes take on a slight glow to them. Her teeth grow fangs like a wild beast as she points at Issei. "SHUT UP DAMMIT! I'll never forgive you for this! I'll never ever not even if God tells me to!" Raynare laughs at Issei's promises. "Oh don't worry I'm beyond that point!" Raynare says scowling. "GOOD BECAUSE YOU DON'T DESERVE IT!" Raynare snickers some more as she retreats from Issei's grasp. "You're a little bigot! You hate me because I'm a Fallen angel. You only liked me because you thought I was a human!" Issei enraged spits out the first thought in his mind. "YOU DUMB BITCH OF COURSE! WHO THE HELL LIKES A DEVIL OR A FALLEN ANGEL! I'm here to save the house of Gremory and all them because, because, they never-" He stops mid sentence. "Crap" he thought to himself as Raynare's face drops in horror. "Wait, they're not devils, like we're fallen angels" she puts everything together as she reads Issei's facial expression. He looks at her in horror as her eyes grow with fear. "This human, is truly insane" Raynare thought. With regret Issei lets his anger overflow. "WHY COULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN YOU?!" He yells at Raynare as she looks at him destroyed. "You've inflicted more pain than I ever could back!" Raynare shouts. "I WANT ASIA BACK! GIVE HER BACK!"

He screams at her horribly as his arms and hands shake. "I WANT YOU DEAD AT THE MINIMUM! YOU'RE DEATH WILL BRING ME JOY FOR CENTURIES!" His voice at this point turns into a brutish demonic tone as he screams for the death of his opponent. He swings his gauntlet at Raynare as it glows an intense emerald green. As he swings she dodges his punch and flies up into the air. She then lands back onto the ground as she looks at Issei. "You don't pay attention! You can't win even with triple the power! So just give up and I'll leave you alone!" Issei sheds a tear of blood as he feels his body breaking from all the immense power and stress of his energy and emotions. "WHY DO YOU LOOK SO SCARED THEN?!" Raynare no longer bothers to hide her fear and emotion. "THERE'S NO ONE HERE WHO CAN PROTECT YOU! No Issei to shield you from the big bawd scawy man! No Jesus to protect you from those evil freaks! You messed up and now you're on your own!" Issei then lunges at her once more with an iron fist, leaving behind green and red streaks of light. Raynare dodges once more and stares Issei down.

"How about I deal some of that pain back?!" Raynare yells as she throws two light spears back at Issei while in the air. He takes them as they both land in his legs. Piercing them and causing blood to puddle on the floor. "Tell me, is light really that toxic to devils?" Raynare asks with a snarky tone as she gains some confidence back. "They're toxic because this metal is as hot as lava. It's like branding a cow kind of hot. Naive fools. Though she knows this, I bet she just wants more secrets from me to slip" Issei thought.

"Yeah! But who cares?!" Issei roared as he pulls them out. He looks up to see Raynare look at him with surprise. As if she got an answer she didn't expect. "You know I really am impressed. The fact that you got this far as a rookie into the devil world? Interesting" Raynare comments.

"I hate you! I can't keep saying it cause it doesn't get anything out! IT ONLY ADDS MORE TO THE PAIN YOUR EXISTENCE BRINGS ME!" Issei says with tears pouring out of his eyes.

"Damn. Is God really leaving me? Do I really have to call on the Devil now as a demon? What a demotion. He can't get what I want done! I need the power of the heavens to make this right!" Issei thought as stands up as his wounds leak out more blood. "What are you mumbling about over there?" Raynare asks. "Whoever is listening, shall be my master. God, or the Devil? Whoever wants me can have me!" Raynare watches Issei with curious intent.

"If they both want me. No chance Satan can beat God to it. It's foolproof. I submit to the higher power, let them speak to me as I stand here" Issei thought to himself. With a sudden flash of a light, thousands of demons flood Issei's mind, filling it with white noise as they prevent contact from any spirit in heaven. Issei frustrated bursts out in rage. "YOU HEAR ME! SOMEONE HELP!" Raynare realizing that her opponent is fighting off a thousand evil souls panics as she watches her opponent starting to overcome them one at a time. "What are you doing?!" She yells. Issei suddenly feels his devil wings come out of his back. "Do it, do it now! I'll keep going!" Issei yells. "Who is he talking to?" Raynare asks herself, confused at what she is witnessing. Suddenly Raynare feels fear as she looks up at the altar to see the cross shake a little. The stone Jesus figure rips its arms out and drops to the ground as Issei stared Raynare down with his golden eyes. "You're devils too. You should be the ones in Hell, not them! WHY DO YOU GET TO ROAM OUR WORLD WHEN THEY'RE HUMANS TOO!" Issei roars as Raynare flies in the air.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

Issei lifts up his gauntlet and clenches his fist. "I'm gonna save the world! The Harem can wait! Before I descend into madness with my selfish desires, may my selfless one manifest! YOU HEAR ME! HELP ME KILL THIS BITCH ALREADY!" Raynare looks at the stone-carved Jesus in fear as it points at her. Issei, full of rage, stands on his two feet. "HOW ARE STILL STANDING?! HOW CAN A DEVIL CALL ON THE SON OF DAVID?! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU?! That light should be burning you from the inside out!" Issei rolls his eyes as he begins to move his legs towards his enemy, all while Raynare's entire set of teeth turns into fangs as she grows with anger.

"YOU DON'T HAVE THE POWER TO TAMPER WITH LIGHT YOU'RE NOTHING!" Raynare roars as Issei dodges a throw of her light spear. "Oh yeah and that's why I'm standing up right now! Hey but it's alright it doesn't tickle!" He then feels his eyes watering once more. "As long as it gives me the strength to kill you I don't care if I pass out! I'LL GET THE JOB DONE!" He walks towards Raynare, causing her to back up with fear. "I can't wait to rip you all apart!" Raynare looks around panicking as she feels her body begin to fail her. "Your sacred gear! It should just be a double-critical! GET AWAY! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Issei glares into her soul as he feels his nerves burn.

"Your future killer."

Raynare throws a light spear out of fear, only to watch it get blocked as the boy is blinded with sadness in his eyes. "BALANCE BREAKER! ULTIMATE FORM!" Raynare yells as she uses her balance breaker, creating a slick suit of dark energy that gives her a more modest look to her appearance, covering any skin with a thick coat of antimatter. As Issei breaks her arm she uses the broken limb to throw him into the walking Jesus statue, breaking it into little pieces. "Where do you think you're going? This isn't your church but you're always welcome to stay!" Issei roars as he then dashes back at her. She throws some quick punches but Issei reacts fast enough to block and counter them with parries. The two engage in deadly combat as they throw quick blows. Like two machines able to predict thousands of moves ahead of each other. Issei then takes Raynare and tears a chunk of her dark matter energy suit off, he then grabs it from the inside and rips it apart, tearing the fabric apart as he throws her across the church. He then grabs her by the neck as his eyes glow with fire for pupils. "I have the supreme power! THIS ISN'T-" Issei cuts Raynare off. "THIS ONE IS FOR ASIA!" He throws her up and punches her throat, causing her to crash through a window.

"Damn. This isn't good. I feel so weak." Issei says as he places his hand over his heart. Yuuto rushes over and catches Issei before he can collapse to the ground. "Good work out there man. You did good." Yuuto says complimenting him. "Thanks. What held you back?" Issei asks. "Koneko told me we should stay back to heal up. Turns out it was Rias's orders." Issei looks at Yuuto as his eyes widen. "Wait, really?" He asks astonished. "Yup" Issei looks to see Rias standing with her arms crossed. "I knew you'd be able to do it." She walks over to Yuuto and Issei as her shoes click on the ground. "Wow, thanks for that, I guess." Issei says rather dissapointed. Rias smiles at him as Koneko walks in with Raynare subdued. "Did someone order this?" she asks as she throws Raynare's body onto the ground. "You must be lady Raynare. I'm Rias Gremory."

Raynare looks up with fear as the devil woman stood over her. "Gremory! You gotta be kidding me!" Raynare yells. "It's lovely to meet you, but I'm afraid we can't chat." She then drops some black feathers onto the ground. Raynare looks up in horror as Rias smiles at her. "They were rather rude to me. Taunting me and my fiance. That's quite a shame they looked like such wonderful people." Issei looks at the black feathers rather satisfied. "You killed them?" He asks.

"Dosn't matter, when you push the Empress of annihilation to the brink, your fate is worse than death"

Issei looks at Rias rather confused. "Empress?" he asks. He blushes, a part of him struggles to make it to the surface of his mind, it then retreats back down to the pit of his soul as his main persona takes over again, hiding his true feelings. "Tch, why would the airs of Gremory dare such a thing?" Raynare asks. "Well I took a look at you guys and found that multiple fallen angels have planned to attack this town. Normally I'd stay out of it but you guys insisted on attacking my team" She then bends down and looks into Raynare's eyes as she gets into her ear, whispering "You have any idea how screwed my eternal life is because of you? He's screaming someone else's name and not mine, meanwhile my name was given away to some creep. You ruined me, and you also ruined that boy's heart. He won't trust a soul as long as he lives if people like you are allowed to live. She then stands up over Raynare.

"You said you attacked cause they kept chasing a house member. Were you, protecting me?" Issei asks softly. "Your gear it's red" Rias points out. "Oh yeah, that happened" Issei says back casually. "It's the dragon. From Job's time." Issei looks at Raynare confused. "Job?" Issei asks. "You have the dragon. Usually dragon means giant lizard, but this is the mythical one." Rias says as she turns her head towards Issei. "Yo sweet! So that means-" Rias cuts Issei off. "It's not a dual critical sacred gear. No need to be embarrassed Raynare. Although I hope you are. The one Issei has can both-" Rias stops mid sentence. "What?!" Raynare asks, annoyed. "Issei was right. This can communicate with both God and Satan. He has direct access to heaven. Even believers don't quite have it to his extent. "Of course Rias" a holy voice says, interrupting her thoughts. She turns around spooked as the king of kings stood right in front of her. Everyone jumps as they see the head of the Jesus statue talking. "You'll learn more later, but I thought I'd let you all know that I'm waiting with open arms." He smiles, showing his perfectly white teeth before fading away. "MASTER NO!" Raynare shouts before receiving a kick from Rias.

"HOW DARE YOU-" As she goes on yelling at the Fallen angel, Issei feels a struggle within him. He then looks at Rias standing over Raynare as he hears voices tell him to do things. "You're telling me that the tool that can be used to destroy God himself is in the hands of a child?!" Raynare asks frustrated as she looks down at the ground with spit throving from her mouth.

"Destroy God?" Issei asks confused. "Wait, God can't die. Then he wouldn't be God. Or otherwise… That would make me God"

He clenches his fist as he activates his sacred gear. Raynare's eyes widen as he approaches her. "Wait, Issei no!" Raynare yells. He then grabs her by the collar. "I'm gonna-" Issei gets cut off by Raynare's plea for mercy. "Issei wait!" Her voice turns into her sweet human persona. She looks at Issei as he drops her in shock. He feels his heart quake and ache as he steps back from his childhood friend. "I'm sorry. I know I said some mean things but I had to. You see that's my duty as a Fallen Angel I really did like you! You know this don't you?! What was that encounter we had in the park with Asia then?!" She then holds out her wrist. "I kept it see! You bought this for me!"

"Shut up" Issei says calmly. Rias just looks at Issei as her eyes fill with pain. "Koneko get ready!" Yuuto yells as the Knight and Rook ready for battle Rias holds out her hand. The two then stop as Issei points his gauntlet at Raynare. He walks over to her as his body releases a cold and sinister energy, but his eyes and face show mercy. "I can't get rid of this Issei. She'll try to erase me and your friend. She loves you just like I do!" Raynare yells. "Liar! Wait no!" Rias yells as she finds herself embarrassed from denying her love for Issei. "You're manipulating the situation!" Rias yells. "Dammit. She's trying to provoke me. If I kill her now I'll only prove her point!" Rias thought. "She's gonna use you! Issei, please don't let them hurt me! Don't hurt me. I'm scared!" Raynare yells. "I thought, since you were the one who broke my heart. That it would be easy to kill you" Issei says as he looks away from the fallen angel. Issei then puts his hand inside his chest and pulls out a cracked heart. The organ barely beating as it floats around some red aura. "You see. I'm dead." Issei says as some blood dribbles onto the church floor. Even Rias is shocked at the news. "No, I brought you back!" Rias yells in protest. Issei looks at her rather disappointed. "No. God did, and if you go back to the park you'll find my dead body under the ground. Where the fountain is. Until the resurrection, I'll remain there asleep" Issei states. "That's if it turns out I'm not a god." Issei then thinks. He then drops the deformed heart and stomps on it.

"I'll never get to be a human again. No, I'm just a soul now. And maybe it won't be so bad, it might even be better, but you didn't know that. What if my life gets worse from here forever. You would have caused it. You really messed up my life. If you really gave a shit about me you woulda never went near me. Instead you preyed on my lust and murdered those men in my name." Raynare laughs. "How selfish of you! I'm supposed to sit back and watch you fall in love with that bloody haired brat?!" Issei grits his teeth. "BETTER THAN THIS! YEAH IF I DO END UP WITH HER THEN YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO INTERFERE! YOU THINK IF IT WAS REVERSED THAT I WOULDA DONE THE SAME THING?!" Raynare scoffs. "Of course not you woulda just moved onto some other bitch like your two idiot friends!"

Pervert!

Issei just stares at her, devastated that the very thing he despised came out of the words of his entire world. Now shattered like his heart he walks away from Raynare. "I had to watch you do that for years, you moved on from man to man for most of your life. You're the real creep, now they're dead." He then pauses and turns to Rias. "Rias, do what you want." Issei then starts to choke up. "This hurts too much." Raynare watches Issei walk away. She calls for his name only for her words to fall on deaf ears. "That's enough. You won't be toying with my servants or my fiance anymore devil!" Rias says as she puts her foot down. Rias then creates an aura orb. Raynare hisses as her eyes flare up and her fangs grow out of retaliation to Rias. "Now die" Rias says as she gives Raynare a cold look into her eyes.

As Raynare roars for the last time her feathers are blown all over the room, like a bird blown up by a shotgun. That's all that remained other than the stolen sacred gear she took from Asia. They float down in all their glory as Issei remembers Raynare's words to him all their lives leading up to this moment. Every bitter and sweet moment. It all ruined him as he fell to the ground.

"I've betrayed my friends for her. It doesn't matter if they used me, I'm still in the wrong too." Issei says defeated. He then looks down at Asia's dead corpse and just looks at her peaceful body. "I'm a monster" he groans. Rias walks over with the rings and sits next to Issei. "Even if you are, no one's apologized for making you one. So why should you feel sorry?" Issei looks at Rias with sorrow. "What?" he asks. "You shouldn't feel like you owe the world anything when they made you like this." Rias clarifies. She pats his back as she holds the rings with her other hand. "Now, let's go return these. They're beautiful." Issei wipes his tears as he looks back at Rias and smiles. "Yeah, they sure are." As he puts on the rings he stood over Asia with tears still in his eyes. "I'm sorry for all of this. Despite all my efforts, all my resisting, I still failed. She's dead and it's my fault." Rias once again walks over to comfort Issei. "Stop apologizing. This isn't your fault. You're still new to this world and you just had your first battle. I can tell you're going through a lot and it's still hurting. Asia won't blame you. Listen Issei, take a look." She pulls out a bishop chess piece. "A chess piece?" Issei asks. "When I recruit people they take the position of a chess piece. It's how we have ranks here. And well, we have two bishops, a rook, and a knight left. The bishop is supposed to protect and heal the others." Akeno travels through a portal and joins the group. "Maybe this is the right timing for her." She then walks up to Asia and puts the chess piece on her lower neck as Rias speaks an ancient prayer. When she's done Issei watches Asia's eyes open. She sits up confused as Issei rushes to her for a hug. "From now on you are her protector" Rias adds.

"It was a hard choice. But jealousy almost got the better of me. If Issei really doesn't like me, then he may be with anyone he pleases. I just thought for a second that I had a chance against him."

Riser Phoenix

Rias says this as she imagines a blond haired man smiling at her with a red blazer on. His shirt revealing his cleavege of his toned out chest as his wings of fire burn behind him. His red devil eyes stare down her soul as his smile revealed his fiendish fangs.

She walks away as Issei and the others rejoice in saving Asia. As she walks outside the church she looks up at the starry sky and sees smoke rising from the city. "Let destiny play out. I'm done inflicting the pain of hope into my life" Rias thought to herself. As she opens her eyes once more she sees the smoke coming from many fires. Her eyes widen as she sees more erupt from an explosion. She looks around panicked realizing that the night is not over. "Everyone get outside now!" Rias yells. "Issei? What's going on?" Asia asks as she looks up at Issei innnocently. "Don't know. Come on!" As they all rush out of the church they see the aftermath of a world wide operation. "What the?!"

"HEY GET INSIDE! WE NEED THE STREETS CLEARED!" A soldier nearby yells as the group of high schoolers. He points his weapon around as the rest of his unit rushes towards him. "What?! Wait what caused this?!" Issei yells. "Something. We don't know, all we know is that it's gone"

"They're gone"

And in that terrible moment, they all knew they were too late as city buildings collapsed to the ground in a heap of flaming ashes.

One week later

Issei hits the snooze button on his alarm. As he walks out of his house twenty minutes later he sees more missing posters on telephone poles. Each day more people are added to the count. An all time high of one thousand now. He walks into the clubhouse to see the news headline read "One week since terrorist Christian group attacks Satanists".

"Those priests. They were mercenaries working for the Fallen Angels" Issei comments. Rias shuts off the TV and sits on the couch across from Issei. "They killed so many, it led to Satanists from local temples rioting in the streets as they tried to fight back. This whole situation blew up and it turns out those fallen angels went against their superiors. They knew an attack like this would stir up other gods and their people, causing a major political crisis in both our worlds. Now all the leaders and their worlds have to meet under the throne of God for judgment." Issei rubs the back of his head as he wakes up. "Like what Jesus is the judge or something?" Issei asks. "One of the three within the trinity. Yes they'll be dealing the punishments based on the sin. In fact, since we actually prevented more damage, I've been informed that the Lord said he wanted to personally talk with us at some point." Issei feels chills down his spine as he hears those words coming out of the mouth of a devils servant. "Woah, that's great." He says with a reassured smile. "I'm proud of you Issei. I know it's hard to think that when so much destruction happened that night. But we can't be all over the world." Rias then gives Issei a faint smile.

"Yeah, but they declared war on all Satanists. It doesn't matter if they're marked the same way as Isis, there will be a ton of anti-Christian rhetoric since the scale of this attack was so huge." Rias sighs. "I know, every city had some burning going on. They're like a small army spread across the world." Issei clentches his fist. "Meaning if they wanna fight a war they'll most likely have to grow bigger if they wanna keep it up. This won't be the last we hear from them." Rias begins to walk out of the room. "I'm sure God can handle it. They'll be gunning to get their hands on boats, planes, and any kind of tank or anti aircraft weaponry, but that won't last against divine will." Issei takes a seat as he listens to Rias's fading voice. "Well until then we have yet to hear from them. And what about the Satanists?" A sink could be heard running as Rias splashes water on her face.

"Nothing more than just groups of people with Molotov's, and whatever weapons citizens could get their hands on. They're so much weaker that this looked like a mass terrorist attack against people in general." Issei sighs. "This is all nuts. I'm just worried about my parents." Rias shuts off the sink. "Oh yeah, how are they doing?" She asks. "They're fine. Still taking care of them. But..... They're proud Protestants. I'm just worried they'll get hurt, either by defending their viewpoint or thinking that what happened last week was okay, thinking that those were actual soldiers of God and not some insane Fallen angel, demon, whatever they are human puppet groups. They can be crazy sometimes and don't understand a whole lot. I know they mean well, but that won't matter against an angry mob." Rias walks back over to Issei. "Well worrying will only affect you and not anyone's safety or lack of it."

She walks over to Issei as she takes a sip of tea that she just made from the kettle in the kitchen. "So about Asia. Did you take a visit to her today?" Rias asked. Issei nods his head in response. "How did it go?" Rias asks. "She healed me up well." This puts a smile on Rias's face. "Well that's good. She's proving how useful she can be already." Rias says in a light hearted manner. "Yeah. Her healing is like no other." Issei says as he leans back on the couch. Worried about her he scratches his head out of nerves. "No wonder she's threatened a small group of Fallen Angels and an army of sinful people." Issei pauses and turns his head to Rias. "Hey, question. If this is a metaphorical game of chess. Then are all the pieces represented?" Rias nods her head. "Yes, why do you ask?" She then sips some more tea as Issei leans back.

"Right" Issei says as he looks back at the turned off TV. He sits back on the couch as Rias just looks at him. "So that means, you can have seven more of me. Since there are eight pawns." A long awkward silence fills the room before Issei sits back up, embarrassed he's showing his broken feelings. "Not that I don't mind. I get it, this isn't a social call. We have responsibilities to uphold" Issei says this as he looks down at his hand. Rias almost snickers as she gets up and stands behind Issei with her hands on his shoulders. "Even if I had seven more they'd all have different roles. So you wouldn't be expandable either way. Not to mention I can't exactly do that." Rias says this as she gets close to Issei's ear. "Why not?" Issei asks as Rias hugs Issei from behind, awakening an inner persona that was dormant since Issei was killed by Raynare. He's engulfed with a passionate fire as he blushes slightly.

"You see, Issei I sacrificed all eight of my pawns to bring you back" Rias blushes some more. "So seven others?" Issei asks as Rias nods her head. "But, why?" He asks. "Because the potential you had made it worth the risk. I'll admit it was a gamble but I trusted that it would one worth it. And I also had plenty of time to reconsider since I've been watching you for some time." Issei looks at Rias intrigued. "And also, I did fall in love with you after all." She moves his head as she puts her hand on his jaw. Her blue eyes stare through his golden ones and straight at his soul. "The Crimson Haired Princess of Ruin and the user of the Red Dragon. I don't know if we could be better matched?"

"The user?" Issei thought "No, what was it last night It was God. That title sounds more fit-" Suddenly as Issei gets lost in his thoughts he feels more in control of his body. His darker emotions slide down as he notices a red bird perch in the window, watching the two devils chit chat. "NO! I HAVE THE TOOL TO KILL THE ALMIGHTY!"

"That's what you think. I don't see God being able to kill himself though" Issei thought as he battled his inner monolouge.

"GIVE ME BACK THE BODY! YOU KNOW YOU'LL WANT ME I'M LIKE A DRUG DAMMIT!"

Issei returns to the real world as he hears Rias's voice. "Strive to become the greatest pawn. Consider it an order my dear prince." Rias says with all the sweetness and seductiveness she has in her. "Yes ma'am" Issei responds cheerfully. He then feels his darker side mix with his happy go lucky self in the moment.

AT LEAST LET ME HELP YOU BOY!

Rias then cups Issei's face and kisses him on the forehead, letting her lips press against his skin as all her passion leaks out into him. He feels his heart skip as she lets go and stares right back down at him. "Sorry, about everything" Issei says. Issei then creates his sacred gear. Rias jumps up afraid of what he's gonna do. He grabs her for a tight one armed hug, his lips pressed against the side of her head as he aims his weapon at the window. A bird stares at them as the laser fired from Issei's iron fist kills it. The bird was rather odd, an exotic phenoix of some kind with feathers crimson red, a bright yellow, and flaming warm orange. Rias jumps startled by the sudden attack before she sinks back into Issei, letting him coddle her as he puts his ability back to bay. "Sorry about that. I felt called by a spirit to send a message" He says as he then takes his other hand and pats her soft red hair. "Interesting" A man says as he's surrounded by women on a long green couch. "Issei Hyodou. We have a lot in common. We should chat." Riser says as he lets the darkness cover him and his harem. "Can't wait to meet you, my boy."

He laughs like a mad man as he sits with his Harem, marveling at his rival.
