His system alerted him, "Shepherd willow wants to know your intentions! Failure to declare your intentions will make her attack you!"

"Tell her that she can go shit herself. I am levelling up for god's sake!" He telepathically communicated with his system.

The Shepherd willow calmed down a bit but was still poised to act at a prompt.

Da Morte was trying to force out a big chunk of the excess mystic qi in his qi dantian and push it into being refined as air-based qi. This was in order for him to level up his mastery of the air element to the first tier of the regular level.
