Chapter 18: He looks for the werewolf

Ligaya's eyelids became weak, and her eyeball turned red. She felt disappointed in herself after Joseph said Luningning treated him like a brother more than Ligaya did. Tears roll down her left cheek as she wiped it off so that Joseph won't see it, but he did.

She holds Joseph's right hand and promises to make it up to him in whichever way she has been lagging. Joseph makes an unreal smile toward Ligaya, and Ligaya goes backward to her cooking.

Joseph left to their sitting room and sat on the dining chair, sipping his coffee and thinking about how Ligaya looked troubled. He closed his eyes and breathed in, then dropped the cup of coffee, stood up and went back to the kitchen to meet Ligaya.

"Ligaya, I'm sorry if what I said earlier hurt you, I don't mean it, I just feel bad for Luningning. So tell me where is Luningning food, I will help you pass it to him”
