My heart jumps to my throat when I catch a familiar scent. 
Why does it appear around me so often these days? 
I turn around looking for the owner frantically but I can't spot them.

"How can I not?" 
"You're quite popular, I'm not, so I had no idea you'd be into me." 
"I'm not into you. I just like making friends." 
"Yeah sure, like you haven't been practically undressing me with your eyes." 
"I have not been doing that!"

"He likes you for sure." I scowl at him and give him a bored expression. 


"He'll come around for sure, give it time, Jae came around too right?" He uses one hand to drive while the other one caresses my head softly. 


"Let's see about that. For now, let's focus on feeding me." He chuckles a little and voices out a 'yes sir'. 


"Jim come on it won't be that big a deal." 


"Can you just shut the fuck up with the no big deal thing?" He asks clenching his jaw and rubbing his face with both his hands sitting next to me in the waiting area. 


"Seriously, let's just get the blood tests done first, don't worry too much." 


"Yeah, you're right, I need to calm down." He says grabbing one of my hands squeezing it. 


"Why are you so on edge today? Is everything okay?" I ask rubbing his back. 


"I just, I'm worried about you, I don't know what I'd do if something happened to you." 


"Nothing's happening to me, I'm absolutely fine." I say chuckling a little.
