My heart jumps to my throat when I catch a familiar scent. 
Why does it appear around me so often these days? 
I turn around looking for the owner frantically but I can't spot them.

"You're quite popular, I'm not, so I had no idea you'd be into me." 
"I'm not into you. I just like making friends." 
"Yeah sure, like you haven't been practically undressing me with your eyes."

"What?" I ask beyond just shocked with wide eyes scanning the room to find Sam. 


"I said, Will you marry me, Mia?" He asks again, smiling mischievously. 


"Jim, did I miss something, or have you always been bisexual?" I ask him confused as fuck. He laughs throwing his head back before clearing his throat to speak in the mic again. 


"No, I'm still gay, I'm still in love with Jae but I love you too." 


"I mean I do love you but maybe it slipped your mind, I have a boyfriend?" 


"Yes Mia, I am aware. I have his permission to marry his girlfriend." He says laughing heartily before continuing. "Now that I said it out loud, it sounds weird." 


I tilt my head in confusion before scanning the room again and spot Sam standing not that far from me, smiling at me with half-closed eyes, you know that fond smile he always gives me.
