Akage blinked when the soft cloth dropped from her eyes. They pushed her to her knees, and she observed the building.
The room was spacious, clean and the lighting dim. The scent of rose candles wafted throughout the whole room, but it didn’t mask the smell of drugs.
Footsteps echoed in the room and a young man entered. He wore a suit, tall with black hair, orange eyes and fair skin. A pin with the symbol of a golden serpent dangled as he moved.
He stopped in front of Akage and laughed in disbelief when he saw the patriarch of the wolf gang at his mercy.
“So, you’re the terrible omen that strikes fear in the mouth of other gangs; I thought you would be difficult to catch but look at you at my mercy.” He mocked with a smooth baritone.
“Katsu Sena, Eiji Sena’s elder brother.” Akage said and Katsu jolted at the sound of his name. “Stupidity must run in the family.”
