Ben has always been selfish. When survival is on the line even more so. So, when Ben is forced to choose between dying a slow and painful death. He chooses the most selfish option.

This is a story about cryptids hunters and power. Not all cryptids will be 100 percent accurate to the lore as there is tons of lore for every one of them. This story takes place in a more magical modern-day world. Where slinging spells is equal to firing weapons.

I Am a Wendigo

AN: Hello everyone, this is a more original novel idea as I have not seen many cryptid stories on this sight. now before we begin in earnest, I will inform you that this story will be pretty dark. It is based on the wendigo lore of a selfish spirit inhabiting a mortal body, drawn out by cannibalism. So, if killing someone and eating them raw is a no go this isn't for you. I have always had a fascination with cryptids, but the wendigo has been my favorite. 


I mean some of the abilities they have in some folklore is nuts. from voice mimicry to super speed/strength. they are expert hunters and able to hide very well. Not to mention their ability to induce psychosis in their victims. They are a sick cryptid, so I am very much looking forward to writing about them.
