I Have No Sister

"I don't have a sister." Luliyah voice sounded calm and firm when she said it.

Luliyah's answer was like a death sentence for Natali. The only person that could save her in times like this was Luliyah. But her pride didn't let her beg Luliyah. She really hated her sister.

Kelvin sounded satisfied with Luliyah's answer. He was happy that Luliyah remembered his advice not to always be gentle with everyone, especially those who tried to harm her. Now, Luliyah made absolutely no effort to defend Martins and Natali. He nodded and ordered his guards to take Martins and Natali out of his house, "Take them out of this place."

The guards immediately stepped forward to carry out the order from Kelvin.

Natali rose to her feet and stomped the ground angrily. Shame and anger was mixed in her heart. She spoke arrogantly, "Luliyah, You can live in a nice house like this because of who? Your mother's hospital bills are paid off, all because of who? Who helped you? You ungrateful woman." She shouted, pointing at Luliyah.

Hearing Natali's accusation, Luliyah couldn't help but feel angry. It is true that she needed money for her mother's hospital bills. She did ask Natali to loan her money, but that didn't mean she wanted to sell herself for the money. She still had pride.

Natali kept making up stories that Luliyah asked her to get a rich man. She felt that Luliyah was supposed to be thanking her.

"Natali, do you think I need to thank you?" Luliyah's eyes was filled with anger.

"Are you not aware that it's because of me you can live in a nice house. Thanks to me, your mother bills has been settled. All because of me." Natali shouted shamelessly.

Luliyah couldn't believe what she just heard. Natali still defended herself this way. She claimed to be the one who helped Luliyah so that she could have a comfortable life. How absurd was that.

"When mom was in danger, dad didn't want to help at all. You said you would lend me money and I trusted you. But what did I get? You drugged me. You spiked my drink. I met Kelvin, and now you are saying that it s all thanks to you?" Luliyah's hand trembled as she said that. Never in her life has she felt this angry. At the moment, she could no longer hold back her emotions.

Before she did, Martins slapped Natali's face. "Who told you to get up? Get on your knees and admit your mistakes. Apologize to your sister." He shouted.

The slap made Natali fall back on the ground so hard. Her legs was sore and stiff from kneeling for too long.

Kelvin just observed them from where he was standing with a cold gaze. His face looked unpredictable, "Luliyah, I remember that your mother only has one daughter. How come you have siblings now?" He asked sarcastically again.

Luliyah's eyes flickered. She inhaled and exhaled, trying to calm herself. "I don't have a younger sister." Luliyah answered once again, repeating her previous statement more firmly.

"Luliyah Parker!" Martins shouted loudly.

The man was furious to see Luliyah's behavior which made the atmosphere even worse. Instead of helping her father to solve the problem, his daughter made things more complicated. How insolent.

Martins's voice made Luliyah's body jolt a little. She quickly his behind Kelvin's body. Her hands held the hem of Kelvin's shirt, as she trembled a bit. She has never heard her father shout at her.

Seeing Luliyah's fear, Kelvin whispered softly, "There's no need to be afraid. I am here." That sentence made Luliyah to feel calmer. But Luliyah's hand was still holding the hem of Kelvin's shirt.

Meanwhile, Martins was very furious and did not know whom to vent his anger on. The he saw Natali close to him.

Martins kicked Natali's body hard, making her to moan in pain. "Apologize to your sister." He yelled at her and kicked her repeatedly. Seeing her crazy father, this time Natali was really scared. She crawled quickly towards Luliyah and begged, "Sister, Help me. Father will kill me."

Tears flooded her eyes as she tried to grab Luliyah. Those tears weren't tears of regret but from the pain and fear she felt.

Kelvin got in the way as soon as Natali tried to get close to Luliyah. He called his bodyguard and told him to drag Natali outside.

"Sister, No... I'm sorry." She shouted, as struggled to free herself from the hands of the bodyguard. Not even a single person came to her rescue.

Seeing Natali being dragged away and forced to leave, Martins panicked. He panicked not because he was afraid that his daughter might be wrong, but because of his efforts to mend the business relationship with Kelvin would fail. "Kelvin, Luliyah and Natali are my daughters. They both are my daughters. It doesn't matter who you choose...."

Those words was like a knife stabbing Luliyah's heart. Kelvin could feel Luliyah's sadness and it made him more angry.

A cold and cynical smile crossed his lips, "Luliyah is not the daughter of Parker family. She is the daughter of Diana Loven.

Martins's body stiffened when he heard his ex-wife's name from Kelvin. He looked at Luliyah, but his daughter did not argue or defend him.

Martins gritted his teeth and said, " Luliyah, let's go home."

Luliyah gasped at Martins's sudden request. Her hand took Kelvin's hand and held it tightly, "This is my home. My house is where Kelvin is..."

Kelvin smiled faintly when he heard Luliyah's words. His gaze softened as he saw Luliyah holding his hand tightly.

"Luliyah Parker, What kind of woman are you, living in a man's house? Your mother is sick. I won't leave you alone here." Martins had run out of words to make Kelvin forgive him, so he would try his best to separate Luliyah from Kelvin.

As a father, he head the right to bring his daughter home. He would teach his daughter a meaningful lesson so that she wouldn't oppose like this. He would beat her for her insolence behavior.

Luliyah felt panicked and terrified when she saw the look in her father's eyes. She knew that her father was furious. She knew that once she returned to her father's house, they would not treat her well. Plus, there was Mona; Natali's mother who hated her badly.

Her body unconsciously trembled in fear and tears began to form in her eyes. Her grip on Kelvin's hand tightened. She was really scared. She didn't want to return with her father.

"Kelvin..." Luliyah muttered as she looked at Kelvin in panic.
