"I thought I told you to fucking go to the kitchen." He gritted out, making me roll my eyes.

"Don't you dare roll your eyes at me princess, you won't like the outcome." He warned me just as I stood up and faced him.

"What is it to you if I'm watching something I like?" I asked him furious because he closed the T.V during the good part.

I absolutely loathe people who disturb me during my intense concentration on a movie.

Ask Alex, I almost killed him once and pointed a gun at his head because he accidentally switched off the television while I was watching a movie.

"If you're going to stare at the man like you'd let him fuck you any way he wants then I'd rather not have you watch it." He snapped at me, making me cross my arms over my chest.

"What if I want that? The idea doesn't sound so bad anyway." I said, making him narrow his eyes at me and his jaw clench tightly.

"That's it." He growled, suddenly catching me off guard as he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, making me hit his bare back in protest.

"What the fuck Roman! Let me go or I'll chop your balls off and shove them down your throat!" I thrashed around and felt a sting on my ass, making my eyes widen.

He did not just do that.

"You asshole!" I spat out as he walked us over to the kitchen, and just as his grip loosened a bit, I I kneed him in the stomach, making him hunch over and drop me.

I fell on my butt, feeling victorious but numb at the same time and saw him grunting in pain as he looked at me with narrowed eyes and lunged at me.

I quickly rolled out of his way, making him fall to the floor when I kicked his back. But just as I was about to scramble away from him, he caught my hair and pulled me back, making me groan in pain. He stood us up, his front pressed against my back as he held me tightly, restraining my arms.

"Not so fast princess." He gritted out, making me slam my head back into his face.

His grip on me loosened as he groaned in pain and quickly turning around, I did a classic flying kick, hitting him square in the head and making him drop to the floor with a thud.

"Holy shit, that was hot." A voice came from behind us and I quickly turned around, catching a glimpse of Enzo, Gabriel, Maria and anther guy who looked a lot like Maria.

But that was my mistake - turning around, because Roman caught my foot and dragged me back to him, making me fall to the floor as he got on top of me, holding my arms on either side of my head so I wouldn't move.

"You can't escape me so easily princess." He told me grinning with an evil glint in his eye, his face bloodied and bruised and I noticed he made the same mistake as Alex.

I stopped thrashing around in his hold and looked at him intently, making him smirk in victory.

"Good girl." He praised me, making me smirk dangerously as his face fell.

"You men never learn." I told him, making him frown just as I swung my legs around his neck from behind and twisted his body along with mine, making him fall to the floor with me getting on top of him this time, earning a cheer from our audience that I had completely forgotten about.

Roman groaned in pain when his head hit the floor, making me grin like maniac knowing I'd won as I got off from on top of him and straightened my clothes, running a finger through my hair, taming it.

"That was so hot." The young guy spoke, making me grin at him as the four walked over to us and Maria engulfed me in a hug.

"At least someone can keep him grounded." Enzo spoke amused as he and Gabriel helped Roman off the floor since he refused to move on his own like the drama queen he was, making me roll my eyes at him and causing Maria to chuckle.

"Well you got him good." Maria told me smiling as I turned to the guy next to her who smirked at me before holding his hand out to me.

"Romero, head of security, at your service my lady." He said, making me giggle as I held out my hand to him.

He took it gingerly and placed a small kiss on my knuckles, making me smile at him amused but it was wiped away as soon as it came when his hand was shoved off of me by none other than Roman.

Jealous bitch.

"Keep your fucking hands to yourself if you want to keep them." Roman growled, making the man chuckle and raise his hands in surrender with a small chuckle.

"Don't worry Don, I'm not hitting on your girlfriend." He spoke amused, making my cheeks redden at his words.

"I'm not his girlfriend." I defended myself, causing everyone's eyes to fly over to me as I raised my left hand for everyone to see the rather large reminder of my life.

"Oh, fiancé then. Wait what?" Romero chuckled, making my frown deepen as I cleared my throat.

"No, I'm engaged to someone else." I corrected him, making his eyes widen as he stared at Roman, quite baffled.

"Ivan's fiancé." Gabriel coughed out, making Roman wrap an arm around my waist possessively when he growled at them in warning.

"What the actual fuck? You kidnapped his fiancé? That's a good one man. A little low though, if you ask me." Romero chuckled as Roman ran a hand over his face in frustration.

"I know right?" I said grinning as Roman glared at me.

"For the last time, I didn't kidnap her." He gritted out, making Romero frown.

"Oh?" He said looking between the both of us as Enzo grabbed his arm telling him he'd tell him the full story later.

"Come on, I brought dinner." Maria grabbed my arm, dragging me away from Roman and towards the kitchen. We set dinner on the dining table and sat down.

I was made to sit on the seat next to Roman and as soon as the men joined us, we started eating, complimenting Maria's amazing cooking skills.

"So what were you two even fighting about?" Enzo asked me, making me shrug.

"He wouldn't let me see a movie because apparently I was ogling at the Italian actor, Michele Morrone, like I'd let him fuck me any way he wanted." I told them, making everyone stop eating momentarily and grin like maniacs. I noticed Roman's glare directed towards me and blew him an air kiss.

"I mean, he was hot and I can't help it if I wanted to stare at him like I could eat him." I admitted smugly taking another bite of the delicious vegetable pasta.

"I know right, he is very hot." Maria squealed, making me grin at her and Gabriel frown.

"I think now I know what Roman's going through." Gabriel said, making us all laugh. I hadn't laughed like this in a while, not since the Ivan and I decided to get engaged.

I noticed Roman looking at me once I'd recovered from laughing, staring at me with a certain glint in his eye.

"Il volto di un uomo che è completamente e totalmente frustato." (The face of a man who is completely and utterly whipped.) Romero commented looking at Roman, making the boys snicker as Roman glared at them.

"Shut the fuck up." He grunted, digging into his food once again while I shrugged the weird feeling off that Romero's words had given me, even if I didn't understand him.

"Oh! Before I forget, I got you some spare clothes so you wouldn't have to roam in his all the time." Maria told me pointing at Roman, making me smile at her.

"Thank you so much." I thanked her with a big smile.

"It's no problem." She assured me as we sipped on our wines.

"So Heather, have you had any boyfriends before?" Romero asked me when we all sat in the living room. I was sitting next to Roman, not that he gave me a choice with his arm around me protectively.

"Uh... yeah... although all of them were pretty much possessive psychos. Actually, every single man who has shown any interest in me were stalkers and protective and possessive psychos." I admitted, making everyone laugh when they looked at Roman.

"What about Ivan?" Romero asked me, making me shrug.

"He's a little extra protective if not possessive because we know each other since we grew up together. He practically thinks of me like a sis-" I clamped my mouth shut at this, realizing I was just about to spout nonsense.

I discreetly looked at everyone and saw they hadn't noticed except...

Roman.

He narrowed his eyes at me slightly, looking at me curiously as he nudged me to go on.

"Because he cares for me a lot and since we have many enemies and all that." I finished, gulping and everyone seemed to buy it. Well all except him, but I'd deal with that later.

"Oh... So what was your last boyfriend like?" Maria asked me excited, making me freeze with the glass halfway to my mouth and nearly dropped it, making me gulp slightly and come back to my senses.

"S-sorry." I muttered as I collected myself, my hand gripping Roman's t-shirt that I was wearing in a death grip.

"H-he uh... He was uh... nice.." I stuttered out, feeling like throwing up as memories resurfaced, making me breathe deeper suddenly and close my eyes momentarily, taking a deep breath to calm down my nerves.

I felt a warm hand on mine, making my grip on the t-shirt to loosen a bit as I sighed in relief when I looked at the tattooed hands.

I glanced at Roman briefly, his eyes softening after he looked at my glossy ones. I forced a smile on my face and looked away after clearing my throat.

"But um.. who likes their ex anyways, right?" I chuckled nervously, making everyone agree along with me and remained quite after that throughout the time they were here, keeping my head low and biting my lip furiously.

Like a robot, I said goodbye to them and stood there, staring off into space when someone shook my shoulder.

"Huh?" I looked behind and saw his concerned face looking at me intently, trying to figure me out.

"Are you okay?" He asked me, and I nodded my head slowly, making him narrow his eyes at me slightly in suspicion as I turned around to walk away from him, but swayed dangerously, about to fall but was caught just in time by Roman.

"Careful there. Let's get you to bed." He muttered, carrying me bridal style towards his room where he placed me onto his bed gently and got in next to me, bringing the covers over us as his arms came around me.

I had no energy to protest so I let him hold me, his warmth telling me to let go completely, to give in to him.

So that's what I did, I held onto him and cried into his chest, letting all my fears take over me while he rubbed my back in a soothing motion and kissed my head, whispering sweet nothings in my ear, and before I knew it, I had drifted off to a deep slumber to let the nightmares do their job.

But at least he'll be there to help me through it, hopefully.
