The next day as planned Oh Min-Hee went to visit her new dance instructor, Bora, in front of the dance academy.
Oh Min-Hee was wearing a simple white top, blue skinny jeans and a blue hoodie with the chain open. Her hair was done in a simple ponytail and that completed her look. She waited for a while before Bora arrived.
When Bora saw what Oh Min-Hee was wearing, she was appalled by what she saw and shouted at her from behind.
"You… you… how can you wear such an outfit and … and that makeup and hairstyle… ugh… are really planning to going to tomorrow's audition looking like that?"
Oh Min-Hee was confused by her reaction and replied in a somewhat appraisive tone.
"From what I have heard, HBYE Label emphasizes on wearing simple dressing style where it will be easier to showcase more energetic dance movements."
"You may be right on that Min-Hee… can I call you Min-Hee… anyway what I was saying that those conditions are only applicable if you are an idol under HBYE Label. But you didn't even join there agency so there is no need to follow their mode of conduct for now. They will tell you what to follow or not and that's a whole other thing. Anyway you should dress so that they would be impressed and not ignore and take you at first when they lay there eyes on you. Do you understand?"
Oh Min-Hee was taken aback by her fierce reply. The she replied in a quiet tone.
"Yes, I understand."
"So what are we waiting for, let's go to a salon first and fix your hairstyle first. Then we will head to a costume stylist were she would loan out an outfit for your audition."
Oh Min-Hee was flustered by how much Bora was helping in all these thing and replied in a questioning tone.
"Is it really necessary to do all this things??"
Bora was angered by her tone and replied in anger.
"You don't understand. The audition is competitions were many participants will fight for a chance to join an agency. You have to look your best if your want to even enter a big agency like HBYE Label. There shouldn't be any half assed attempts and you should treat is as an exam that can change your entire life. Don't make me repeat myself and listen to my instructions."
They reached the hair salon and Bora took the lead and said to hair stylist.
"Cut the split ends and color all those highlights back to her natural hair color. The give her a wavy hairstyle. You get it right."
The hair stylist gave her affirmative and started to work out.
Oh Min-Hee wanted to say something about the highlights but she received a glare from Bora and thus Oh Min-Hee let the stylist do whatever with her hair.
After almost an hour, the hair stylist finally completed the work on her.
Bora came close to her and asked her.
"Do you like your new look?"
"It gives me a vey chic look."
"Nice. Now let's go, we don't have any time to lose."
At the cashier, Oh Min-Hee tried to pay but Bora didn't allow her to pay. After a minute of discussing, Oh Min-Hee reluctantly allowed her to pay.
Then they headed to a stylist who was a friend of Bora. The stylist helped Bora sometimes to decide outfits. They reached her workshop after traveling for a while.
Bora hugged the stylist when she saw her friend. Then she introduced Oh Min-Hee to the stylist. Bora then explained the concept of the dance's she is going to perform.
Then the stylist thought for a while, then went inside her storeroom. She came back with a pile of dress and she told Oh Min-Hee to try it out.
Oh Min-Her headed to the change room to try out her new outfit.
When she came out she was wearing light blue ribbon bow chiffon blouse, black suit pants and black heels.
Bora just marveled at her appearance again and when Oh Min-Hee saw her expression, she was somewhat annoyed by now but maintained her composure since she was helping her out a lot.
After that the stylist came close to her and said.
"Just wear this sleeveless sweater and winter cap for your first music dance performance. If they ask you to do the second, then remove those two item and you would be good to go. As for the makeup, I would like you to add some mascara but other than that everything is fine about your makeup."
Bora asked in an irritated voice.
"Really, that's it. Nothing else on the makeup front."
"No. Nothing else."
Then they finished all the remaining procedures and came out.
Bora then said in a stern tone.
"I've done all I can do for you. I know what you are going to say but the best way to repay me is to nail that audition and become a trainee."
