Oh Min-Hee and the other three participants were waiting at the backstage when the other once from there group entered the main stage in front of the judges.
It took around ten minutes to call the next participant. Oh Min-Hee could see that the other two beside her was anxious as same as her. Who would not be because it was an audition that could change one's life trajectory if selected.
Again after ten minutes, Oh Min-Hee was called out. She calmed down and walked to the main stage. After reaching the main stage, she could see three judges sitting in front of her. She was not able to recognize them but that didn't stop her from introducing herself.
"My name is Oh Min-Hee. I am seventeen years old. I was born on 2003."
The judge in the middle asked.
"So what are you going to perform?"
"I'm going to dance."
The judge in the left then said.
"Which music?"
"BTS - Spring Day"
"Oh… that's a tough one… we are going to play the music… "
A personal came in front of Oh Min-Hee and removed the standing mike and then the personal gave the cue when the music going to start.
When 'BTS - Spring Day' began to play from the speakers, Oh Min-Hee's entire aura changed to one which expressed longing emotions with a sorrowful feeling. The judge's noticed the change and were impressed the the participant was able to make them feel this much short span of seconds. When Oh Min-Hee was showing detailed emotion in the simple movements, like the longing emotions in the delicate movements and the sorrowfulness depicted in the facial expression, it tugged the strings of the judges heart. The judges knew that the toughest part of this music was not the dance moves itself but how to express the emotions while dancing. Emotions like this was seen only on musicals because the performers need to sing, dance and act. Therefore, the previous participants didn't select this song for this reason. But the participant in front was able to blend in the right emotions and the dance together. The judges were not able to say anything even after the performance ended because they were still mesmerized. After a moment the three judges clapped.
The judges started discussing among themselves leaving Oh Min-Hee was standing there awkwardly.
The judge in the right started the discussion.
"We can not miss a talent like this. She is 'Grade-A' talent when it comes to dancing. Do you guys agree?"
"Yes…"
"Affirmative"
The judge on the left posed an argument.
"What about the vocals. If she doesn't have good vocals then her whole talent level will fall down to 'Grade-B'."
The judge in the middle replied.
"Even if she doesn't have good vocals it doesn't matter. Look at her dance and visuals. Her dance was phenomenal to the point that there is no mistake. I could nitpick on some minor errors but overall it was an excellent performance. The visuals she has complimented her even more. Plus we can always train in vocals."
The judge in the right continued.
"If her vocals are really not up-to standard, we can always make her a rapper. There is always a place for someone who is not good at vocals but excel in other areas. Problem solved."
The judge in the left sighed.
"I just hope that she has good vocals, then we can have one more 'Grade-A' talent."
The personal knocked the table which diverted the judges attention to the personal. The personal made a sign and the judges understood. Then they said Oh Min-Hee who was still standing there awkwardly.
"It was marvelous performance."
"Excellent… "
"You were able to show everything that this music required."
Oh Min-Hee thanked the judges. The judges then continued.
"The agency will sent a reply within a week. If you get selected, please contact the HR department of the agency. Have a nice day young lady."
Oh Min-Hee got the cue that they were telling her leave. So she bowed to judges and exited the main stage. She came out of the audition room and headed to exit the building.
After she came out of the building, she blocked the rays of sun hitting her face and started to go back home.
