It's Ways

Chloe stomped into Lux while Lucifer trailed on behind her with a smirk. She was completely annoyed with his behavior at their last crime scene and right now she just wanted to sit and relax but Lucifer practically threatened to tell her boss she shot him if she didn't come to his bar. The blonde woman sat down at the bar while Lucifer went off somewhere else. She sat there alone, not wanting to drink anything but her water or be bothered at the moment. She was so sucked up into her little mood, she didn't notice you approach her.

"Hello there, are you Chloe Decker?" You slide next her, surprising her a bit at your voice. She glanced over to you with wide eyes.

"Y-Yes, how did you know my name?" Chloe glanced over you; you were absolutely stunning! Your eyes were a bright (eye color), your (hair color) (hair length) hair was nearly perfect, your (skin tone) shone, and your smile was full of kindness.

"Oh sorry, Lucifer told me to come over and say hi. My name is (Y/N)." You held out your hand for the police woman to shake, which Chloe did. "Yes, he mentions you a lot actually." You let out a small laugh. "Always going off on how you have a 'stick up your bum'."

"Really?" Chloe felt like groaning. "Sometimes he needs to shut his trap."

"I agree on occasion. Don't worry though, you seem like a pleasant woman."

"Wow, thank you, (Y/N). For one of Lucifer's friends, you are very...well...sweet and nice."

"Oh stop it." You blush slightly.

"No really, a lot of his people he is with are either weird, scary, sexual, or rude."

"Well, he does have that charm." You giggle slightly before Lucifer joined the two of you.

"Hello, my dear." Lucifer grinned at you before giving you a passionate kiss on the lips.

"O-Oh are you two together?" Chloe stumbled her words before taking a drink of her water.

"Why yes, we are married."

Chloe's eyes widened before the water she had in her mouth fell onto the surface of the bar in shock.

Chloe sighed as she heard a few knocks at her front door. Pausing the movie her and her daughter Trixie had been watching, she opened the door, which revealed Lucifer and (Y/N) Morningstar.

"Hello, love." Lucifer had his usual smirk on while (Y/N) kept the same kind smile from yesterday. The pair of them walked in uninvited while the police woman rolled her eyes and shut the door.

"Lucifer!" Trixie ran up to the Devil and hugged him around the waist.

"Oh, hello, tiny human." He spoke with obvious disgust while raising his arms. The small child released him from her hug and her attention was on (Y/N) now.

"Wow, you are beautiful!" She smiled. "My name is Beatrice but everyone calls me Trixie."

"Oh thank you, Trixie." You bent down to her level and you were almost knocked down on your back. "Children are the best!"

That statement made Chloe look at you in shock. Lucifer made it obvious that he hates children yet you like them.

It was back at Lux again, Lucifer and Chloe were on a case. You were a slight tag along, only providing information you were able to gather on your own for them. It was a pleasant conversation until Chloe's ex-husband, Daniel, angrily strode up to the three of you.

"When were you going to tell me that another person was on this case?" He asked angrily asked while glaring at you and officer Decker.

"Oh hello, Sir Douche." Your husband sent him a devilish smirk before his face fell back to one of seriousness. "I would like advise you not to glare at my wife like that, I am very protective when it comes to her."

Now it was Daniels turn to choke on air in shock.

"So, since you are married to him, do you believe he is actually Satan?"Chloe asked.

"Well yes of course! I am a fallen angel." You reply with sincerity. "We both fell together and have been with each other ever since."

She just stared at you in confusion.

"How are they even together?" Dan asked Chloe while watching you two act all lovey-dovey. It amazed them both on how opposite the two of you were yet here you two were; married, kissing, and whispering sweet nothings into each other's ears.

"I don't know but they work for each other." Chloe commented with a shrug. She actually thought you were a good fit in a odd way for Lucifer. Even though you two were practically opposites and it was highly questionable on why you stuck with him, it showed in Lucifer's face how much he loved and cared for you; the same went to you as well.

"I just don't see it. I wonder how she could fall in love with an asshat like that.

"Love has it's ways."
