Chapter 851 Re-Entering The Other World

"I never thought we'd end up allying with members of Freya Familia. Honestly, I don't really want to team up with those guys. Even if they follow the rules and don't cause trouble, it's still not ideal!"

Riveria felt a little helpless after hearing Loki's words. After all, elves have a certain ability to influence people's hearts, but what about the members of Freya's Familia? In Riveria's perception, these people were like a bunch of fanatics, as if they'd been completely brainwashed.

It's not that they couldn't form an alliance. After all, if they did, as long as Freya gave the order, her followers would adhere to the rules. But as an elf, Riveria really didn't want to be around such brainwashed individuals.

"Don't worry. There's no need for us to really work with them. We'll just take our own path. That world is complete and vast, full of monsters to kill and enough souls to collect. They no longer have Ottar, so we'll only stay ahead of them. Besides, we're only sharing what we already know."

"Moreover, Fire Keeper and the others teamed up with us at the beginning, including Hawkwood-san. We have an absolute advantage!"

Finn said confidently. The issue with Ottar had already been resolved. From here on, it was simply a matter of getting a piece of the action, and dividing it into ten shares was easy enough.

"That being said, I still feel a bit uneasy about this alliance from a personal standpoint. But fine, since we're already allied, there's nothing more to say. We just need to get ahead of them and claim the title of the strongest in that world!"

"However, with our current strength, we still don't have a chance against those Lords of Cinder. We'll have to find a way to deal with ordinary monsters first!"

Riveria added with a sigh. The group discussed their plans, realizing that their immediate goal was to strengthen everyone.

They needed to quickly reach level 6 and build up power for Finn and the others to reach level 7. This steady accumulation of strength was necessary, as they were no match for the Lords of Cinder at their current state.

At the very least, they needed a few level 8 adventurers to challenge them. And it was said that there were some particularly troublesome individuals waiting for them, which only added to the difficulty.

After much discussion, the group decided to re-enter the otherworld as soon as possible to grow stronger. As for the rest of their Familia's members, they'd leave them to train in the dungeon. Expedition plans were naturally put on hold for now.

At this point, expeditions weren't a priority, and getting stronger was the main goal. The expeditions had originally been about confirming the state of the lower floors, fulfilling their own adventurous spirits, and seeking power and profit.

But now, money wasn't the concern, and growing stronger was the number one priority in this desolate world.

Early the next morning, the high-end combat power of the Loki Familia set off again, Freya Familia joining them as well.

Though neither Familia entered the dungeon en masse, their high-end combat power venturing in still drew attention.

And after entering the dungeon, they picked up the pace. With group of high-level adventurers moving so fast, even if others tried to follow, they couldn't keep up. Soon, they disappeared into the distance.

The same was true for Freya Familia. After locating the position, they quickly found the passage on the 23rd-floor to the other world.

"Is this another world? It's amazing that a dungeon can lead to another world!"

One of the members of Freya Familia marveled. Even though they were fanatics, they couldn't help but be awed by the sight.

"Now that we're here, and we've shared all the necessary information, let's part ways. The people here will brief you on the details!"

After Finn and the others finished speaking, they left by the campfire. As for the members of Freya's Familia, although they were somewhat displeased, they didn't voice any complaints. They understood that while they were allies, there was still competition between the two familias.

There hadn't been any direct conflicts between them, because even when Ottar was still around, they would have suffered losses. Now that Ottar was gone, any conflict would still result in their loss. However, the monsters in this world were plentiful enough, and all they needed to do was kill them.

The key was not to provoke any bosses, as the consequences could be deadly.

Currently, Loki's Familia was strong enough to kill Level 7 monsters and could escape from Level 8 ones. As long as they didn't stir up the Lords of Cinder, they wouldn't face any excessively difficult enemies, at least not in the earlier stages.

As they progressed deeper, it was estimated that even the ordinary monsters on the map would be around Level 5, especially the giants and humanoid knights, each more difficult to deal with than the last.

However, the members of Loki Familia knew what was going on, so they naturally avoided provoking these enemies. Besides, they were still in the catacombs, and defeating the High Lord Wolnir was no easy task. They needed to bolster their strength before they could take him down.

The monsters in the catacombs were the best source of nourishment. Barring any accidents, a single wave of monsters would be enough to elevate most of them to level 6. After defeating a few bosses and obtaining better weapons, taking down High Lord Wolnir would become much easier.

As for the Freya family, what would they do?

Freya Familia hadn't yet fully grasped the situation. They also hadn't experienced the effects of soul reinforcement, so they started by killing some undead in the surrounding area and performing a few rudimentary enhancements.

In order to provide others with a safe space, the Fire Keeper returned. After all, her role was crucial, and at the Firelink Shrine, no monsters could attack. Meanwhile, Ludleth, one of the Lord of Cinder, wasn't present here either.

Though Ludleth had taken little action from the start, being a Lord of Cinder meant that when he did fight, his power was beyond what others could withstand. In truth, Ludleth was still the most formidable presence here.

Despite having lost his legs, Ludleth's power was evident, much like Prince Lothric, who remained crawling on the ground without even attempting to stand up.

After being strengthened, the members of Freya Familia became visibly more excited. Realizing that the soul reinforcement truly worked, they were eager to slay more monsters and grow stronger with these souls.

Moreover, this form of strengthening directly affected their bodies and didn't require a renewal of their blessings.

Of course, when their blessings were eventually updated, it would bring another wave of benefits, essentially like getting two rewards from one effort.

They also finally understood the value of this place. No wonder Loki had discussed the matter with Freya. This world was a veritable treasure trove. Even a regular familia that stumbled upon such a location could potentially surpass Loki Familia given some time.

With Freya Familia involved, the potential here was truly nothing to scoff at.
