CHAPTER SEVENTY-EIGHT.

Like a robot with so much power and extra lives, Lorenzo wrested the gun from Matteo, then pistol-whipped him with it before flipping at once to shoot one of the guys holding Natasha. All done swiftly and simultaneously.

This gave her room to readjust and attack. "Who else is on this with you?" he roared.

Natasha flipped to her stomach and wrestled the guy on her right to the ground until he was motionless.

Next, she took his gun and shot as many as she could, sliding, kicking, and punching them at once.

Lorenzo briefly looked her way, and his face lit with satisfaction as he settled back to fighting Lorenzo. Lorenzo was in a deeper rage as soon as his face met Matteo's. His fist went flying.

Natasha was doing her own bit, putting so many down. She felt rejuvenated and alert. A familiar feeling she has missed for a while.
