I felt like I would wear a hole through the floor with my repetitive pacing. My nerves were shot, and my muscles were tense. I felt like I could barely see straight. Every time my phone rang or I heard footsteps I thought of Sara and my desperation worsened.

"Jaxon, I think I've got something that needs your attention," Max stated, storming into the room. My eyes darted over to him but I didn’t stop my pacing.

"What’s happening?" I demanded. Max gave me a sheepish smile.

"In all our… purging, I think I’ve found the true mole working for Marino. He’s down at the factory right now, the boys are holding him."

"This is the piece of shit that helped kidnap Sara?" I was already grabbing my jacket and keys. I followed Max quickly out the way he had come in, and out to his car.

"This is the main guy, yes. He had other helpers and they are also being held."
