"Are you ready?" Jaxon asked me as we pulled up to the venue for my reading.


I took a deep breath and turned to him with a nervous smile. "I'm ready."


Jaxon gave me an incredulous look which made me laugh a little, making me forget about my nerves for a minute. While I'd wanted to do my reading today-even willing to fight Jaxon over it, I was definitely more afraid than I'd been anticipating. I couldn't help but play out all the worst case scenarios in my head, over and over again.
