Jaxon
Life was pretty fucking fantastic if I did say so myself. Over the past few months Sara and I had been handling the business together. We were equal partners, and I couldn't have been happier. It was funny, all the arguments Sara and I used to have about getting out of the mafia. I really had intended to keep my promise to her to get out.
Life, however, seemed to have other plans for us. Better plans, if you asked me. Sure, it might have been nice if we'd been able to go completely legit. But things happen, and for us, it just wasn't in the cards.
So we settled on another solution that suited us better. Much better. We were both able to handle all aspects of the business together. We didn't need to keep secrets from each other. In fact, it would have been a terrible idea if we did.
