"Oh my God! Thank you so much for coming over!" I exclaimed as I opened the door for Liz. I mean, I knew I could have handled the kids, but I thought I was going a bit mad, constantly thinking of Michael.
Liz laughed a bit and pushed past me inside.
"Wow, you are really losing your mind over this guy, not that I can blame you," she teased.
Some of the children that recognized her flocked to her side instantly. I smirked at her. I instantly felt relieved that I would be able to get some thoughts and feelings out of my head at least.
I moved over and sat on the floor with her while we played legos with some of the kids.
"I don’t know what to do. I can’t get him out of my head. I mean he’s clearly not interested, why would he be? Now I just feel like a complete idiot because I still miss him and want to see him again," I started rambling.
"Girl, you are not an idiot. You took a shot, and it’s his loss," Liz replied, somewhat sternly.
I sighed.
