I held Isabella while Michael grabbed the bags with our flight captain. Isabella was excited and bouncing wildly on my hip. I was just as excited as her as I talked to her about all the cool things we could do in Europe.
Mostly, she wanted to see the ‘princess castles’ and I couldn’t blame her. I had only seen pictures but the castles in Europe were supposed to be spectacular. Michael had promised we could take a tour of all the old architecture work.
I walked up the steps with Isabella while Rebecca trailed behind us. She carried Isabella’s carry-on items with her and loaded them into the small ‘bedroom’ in the back of the plane. It was almost like being on a small live-in boat. It was nice and well decorated and filled with drinks and snacks. The flight was supposed to be over thirteen hours. We’d need things to be comfortable.
