Alexis and I got ready to infiltrate Gia’s party together. She was throwing a house party because she claimed that she didn’t want to feel alone and vulnerable with Oliver being out on bail.

“You’ve done this before?” I asked Alexis as she secured the wired microphone to my chest and stomach, under my dress. 


“A few times,” she said, laughing. “I don’t usually have backup.”


“I’m personally involved in this. I want Gia to spill the truth directly to my face. She might not know who I am, but I want to hear it from her mouth,” I said, clenching my teeth. 


Alexis laughed and shimmied into her deep purple dress while I reached for the green one I had picked out.
