CHAPTER 31

  'Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.'

  Everyone's eyes were at the entrance of the palace door, waiting to see who it was.

  He walked out, stopping his whistling and gave a lopsided smile when he saw he had their attention.

  "Did I interrupt?"

  Empress Rose stared at the familiar face which had grown from the young boy he was to this tall magnificent man standing in front of them. His biceps were huge, his chest was broad and he was as dark as the night, his clothes were black. The only color on him were his eyes.

  "Storm," Empress Rose finally said with clenched teeth.
