Prologue

Did this generation ruined society? was it the leaders of the nations? when will the world ever find actual peace?.

Living in this world is no living joke

often times people continue to struggle in their own lives just to survive another day.

No leaders have not yet caught the world's attention and also how troublesome the youth of this generation becomes.

Its not my obligation to stop them since im part of this so called "worst generation" to be frankly honest i am ashamed by it.

Over my past 15 years of living in this world truly the year 2022 have been the most troublesome year i live on aside from the pandemic the past 2 years.

Oh right i have not introduce myself but my name is Hensō Shita a 16 year old living in this modern world.

My personal hobbies are games and i love watching mma matches.

I am a introvert who just loves staying at my room from morning till night time.

I mean most people do that so what is the harm?....probably not.

"dear your meal is ready come downstairs" right today is monday my first day in class...

"WAIT MA! IM COMING" i shouted as i rush downstairs towards the living room

"Hurry up food is going to get cold" my mom said as she prepare the table

I then take a seat and waited for her to bring the food over the table

hmm...looks like im having egg and bacons as breakfast

I told to myself as i spectate my mom holding the hot pan in her hands

"lets it!" my mom said as she sat and hands me a spoon and fork

The both of us then enjoyed our breakfast and we casually talk about the most random topics we could think of

I do wish this kind of moments last longer

August 22 the start of the class after such a long academic break

I have mix feelings about face to face classes now....i guess im just nervous about it

After finishing my meal i then prepared myself to go out the house to attend the first class

"Bye mom, im heading out" i said to my mom as i went out the door

"careful then dear" mom replied

I went out and started walking towards the jeepney stations

Amazingly today is a peaceful day

As i head my way towards the station j could see children and their parents

I could see them heading towards the local school in this small town

Sometimes i do think about where did my father go

My mother said my father left us when i was just 5 months old

Its quite sad....

I finally reach the station and immediately entered a vacant jeepney seat.

I then slowly pull out my earphones and my phone from my pocket and plug it in together

I then press the play button for the music, i then waited for the jeepney to be filled before it depart.

After a while the jeepney then depart towards the city of pines

It was a 44 minutes ride before i could stop at another station

After the ride i then continued to walk towards the school via the session road

After passing the session road i then have to walk via the general street

It takes about just 7 minutes to get to the school if the street are not crowded

I then arrive at the school but before entering i have to scan a code via an app the school have us installed on our mobile phones

Its a hassle to be honest....but oh well ita for safety purposes.

The class is located at the 3rd floor of this building so that means i have to take the stairs

As i walk towards the classroom via climbing the stairs i pass by small group of students

"it looks like some students know each other for a while now" i whisper to myself

I could see a student who is asking where he could claim an id

I see students just eating and drinking on the hallway

I check the time on my watch and it seems i still have time...pretty much

I then check the upper numbers that are placed on top of each entrance of the classrooms to check for mine.

"803F...803F...ah there it is" i located my classroom and then head inside

It seems that their are already some students who are seated on some seats inside the classroom

This is quite awkward....i avoid making eye contacts with any of the students who are seated

Glancing from left to right i then decided to take a seat from the left corner of the room

I took my seat

"this is convenient" i whisper to my self again

I placed my bag at the floor just infront of my seat and took a small nap

Though i could'nt really take a nap so i just shut my eyes closed

As the time ticks i could hear some small conversation on the class

I also hear such weird conversation and also some normal conversation

If only im good at socializing i would have been speaking to someone already

The bell rang and i could here footstep coming towards the class

Everyone then took their time deciding on where they would seat

Eventually someone sat beside me...still i kept my eyes close pretending im sleeping

God i could feel that im being stared down on by this guy who is seated beside me

I slowly opened my eyes it turned out it was a girl with long black hair and brown eyes.

"sorry if i disturb your nap" she said with a gently voice assuming i just wake up from my nap

"its okay....i guess i woke up at the right time" i replied and immediately avoided eye contact with her.

A teacher then went inside the classroom placing his laptop and some papers on the desk

Everyone stood up so did i to greet the teacher a good afternoon.

"take your seats" the teacher said who seems to be in his 40s

I then leaned my head on the palm of my hand to listen to what the teacher has to say

I wonder how can school life be again?
