Chapter Two

A ringing phone woke up me.

I groaned and reached for my pants. Grabbing the phone, I looked at the time, 3:50.

No way.

"Turn it off." A voice mumbled beside me.

I answered the phone and jumped up.

"We was suppose to be home hours ago. Your mother called. Get downstairs now!" Lucas said scared.

I quickly put my clothes on but couldn't find my shoe.

The lady picked her head up and looked at me,"Leaving?"

"This was a mistake, I have a girlfriend that I love. As far as I'm concerned you and I never met." I said picking up the shoe and sliding it on.

This was the time I let my mouth overload my ass. But I had to tell her that, I didn't want to add her to the forced marriage and my long lost girlfriend.

"Okay." She said softly and laid back down.

I left the room and out the building. That went better than I thought. I put my shades on and stepped into the car.

"We're in so much trouble. I haven't been home either and it's 4:00." Lucas said as the car rumbled into the highway.

He looked at me,"You have marks all over you."

I quickly pulled the mirror down and indeed it was. I sighed and leaned back. My life is completely over.

After some time I looked at him.

"Did your girl seem older? Did you have fun? You have a couple marks too." I asked him.

He nodded,"She was way older. Of course I had fun, I got her number. Did you get yours?"

I shook my head as we pulled into my driveway.

"See you tomorrow at school." I said getting out the car.

The moment I opened the door, my mother stood on the other side. She frowned and looked at me from head to toe.

"I don't know how you're going to do it but when you come back downstairs them marks better be gone from your body." She said pushing me towards the stairs.

I rushed upstairs ignoring her.

"You have an hour to get there! Your father and I will send you the address." She yelled behind me.

I sighed and stepped into the shower. Maybe I should've got her number. What could I lose? My girlfriend? I laughed and continued washing myself.

I finished showering and started to comb my hair. Regular middle part to my short, black, shoulder length hair. I put on my earrings to make my face pop more.

I looked at my phone. 5:57.

Im late.

I quickly put shoes on and grabbed my keys. I admired myself while walking down the steps. Different gold chain that goes with my skin, slim fit casual black pants and button down shirt.

I kept the first two buttons undid. Maybe if this girl see the marks she won't be interested in me.

I sighed and parked my car at the restaurant dad text to me. My phone started to ring making me look at it.

Lily.

"Before you say anything, my phone was lost, I just got my new one today." She said as I opened the door.

"It's cool. I have to call you back though, I'm having dinner with my parents." I said then ended the call.

She was lying. Lily called again as I walked into the restaurant. I rejected the call as my mother walked up to me.

"Come on. You are fifteen minutes late and I told you to hide those marks!" She complained as we neared the group.

I shrugged,"Doesn't matter, I have a girlfriend already."

She ignored me. I couldn't see around her when we stopped.

"This is my daughter, Cameron Alexander Jones." My mother introduced as my phone rung again.

"But everyone calls her Cam."

I looked at the phone and rolled my eyes. She should stop now. I powered the phone off when my mother cleared her throat. I slowly glance up and big green eyes stared at me in shock and anger.

Oh fuck me.

My mother sat down and I followed suit. Maybe the lady was the girl I'm suppose to marry, sister.

"Cam meet Avery Smith, my daughter." A woman said.

I looked at Avery and frowned,"I have a girlfriend."

"No you don't." Both my mom and dad said.

I stood up,"I'm only in high school, I refuse to have a wife this early in my life."

"High school? You set me up with a child!?" Avery asked her mother.

A child? Who is the child? I'm a young adult.

Just how old is this woman?

"There is only two weeks of school left. With your new job as her principal, the both of you can bond." My dad said as her parents nodded.

Principal? I promise I won't ever go to the office.

My mother looked at me,"Sit down."

I sat down.

"And with your new condo, the both of you can live together in peace. So when school is out, you can marry and I can retire." My mother added.

What new condo? I didn't get a house to myself. She's is forcing me into marriage so she can retire? I hate my life.

"I'm 27, I refuse to marry a child. You can have the condo back, my apartment is fine with me." Avery said.

Child? Did she sleep with children often?

I smiled and stood up,"I'm glad we are on the same page. There is no reason why we should go back and forth."

I pushed my chair in as all of them eyed me. Maybe if I leave they will cancel it. Before I could walk away someone called my name.

"Cam." My dad said standing up.

"You two are getting married if you like it or not. Now be a gentleman and give her a ride home." He hissed.

Avery parents glared at her making her stand up she walked passed me and bumped my shoulder hard. I bit my tongue to keep from saying anything harsh.

I powered my phone back on and followed her outside.

"My car isn't that way." I told her as she walked towards town.

She continued walking, ignoring me.

Until I grabbed her arm,"Get in the car."

Avery snatched away from me,"I'm taking a taxi."

I stood and watched as she pulled her phone out to call a taxi. Before she could click call, I snatched the phone out her hands and walked towards my car.

"Give it back!" She screamed behind me.

"For you to call me a child, you sure do scream like one." I said unlocking my Lamborghini doors.

"I will give it back when we arrive at your condo." I said staring at her waiting for her to get in.

She finally walked to the passenger side and got in. After she put her address in the radio, I frowned, she could've walked for this.

It was less than fifteen minutes away. She was quiet the entire ride and I didn't complain not one bit. When I parked the car, she looked at me.

"Give me my phone."

I looked at the condo, I want to go in.

"Invite me in."

"No."

I looked at her,"You didn't have a problem inviting me last time."

She scoffed then got out the car. I quickly followed her to the room. When she opened the door another woman greeted her.

"Hey Avery! Did the meeting go well?" The woman asked.

Avery walked passed her going into the living room.

"I'm Silvia, Avery sister, who are you?" She asked extending her hand out.

I grabbed it,"I'm Cam, Avery's Fiancé."

She pulled me into an hug catching me completely off guard,"So nice to meet you! Welcome to the family."

I pulled away from her. What's wrong with this woman? Do I look like I like to be touched? There is no reason she should hug me.

"I like you already, you and I definitely should be the two to get married." I said making her face go red.

Why did I lie?

"Based on your looks, I'm way too old for you." She mumbled.

I smirked,"Nonthing I can't handle."

Where was this coming from? I don't know this woman! Why was I being friendly? And flirty?!

"Shouldn't you be getting home Silvia?" Avery scolded from the living room.

Silvia laughed,"Nice meeting you Cam."

I stared at Avery when Silvia left but She ignored me as usual. I stood in front of her and pulled her up.

"Give me a tour then I would leave."

She tried to sit back down making me grab her waist,"The sooner you do it the soon I can leave. Unless you don't want me to."

She pushed me off and walked me around the entire condo. She was quiet. The bedroom was our last stop. She turned to look at me with her hands folded.

"A Goodnight kiss?" I asked her.

"Goodnight kiss? If anything, I want you out of my life, forever, no marriage, no living with me and definitely no seeing your face everyday." She snapped.

I bit my tongue. Well she lasted longer than I thought. I won't say anything harsh, I won't say anything harsh. This could be my future wife.

"Why can't you stand on your words? This is a mistake. You and I never met." She hissed.

I smiled,"Are you done princess?"

I stepped closer to her,"Whatever you say goes. Let's seal the deal with a kiss."

She hesitated. Her face started to get red immediately. What she blushing? No? She was definitely mad.

"You want me out of your life for good? Fine." I said pulling her into a kiss.

I wanted to let go but her lips fit so perfectly for mines. I pulled her closer causing her to moan. She instantly pushed me away.

Control your anger.

Control your anger.

"Give me my phone."

I pulled her phone out my pocket and looked at it, then her. I turned around and threw it against the wall. I watched how it tore into pieces then walked to the room door.

"Why would you do that!?" She screamed at me.

"Goodbye Princess." I said over my shoulders.

The moment I entered my car, I called my dad.

"Hello?"

I rubbed my face,"I tried to make it work but I can't do it. I'm not moving in with her."

He didn't respond for a while. I almost ended the call until he spoke up.

"Well you are getting a condo as well. Close to her. The both of you will still be married, if you move in or not. Come home to pack your clothes, you won't go to school tomorrow, you will be moving in." He said then ended the call.
