Chapter Eight

"How do you feel about threesomes?"

She looked at me and continued packing,"Why not? I would love two dicks at once."

That's not what I mean. I rolled my eyes and looked at the clothes she packed.

"I'm talking about with two girls and me."

She pushed me down on the bed and climbed on top,"I'm not seeing where you getting at with this, we're not having a threesome with anyone."

Of course not. I groaned, this plan isn't working.

"I have to go to the mall, do you want to come?" I invited.

I picked her up and carried her downstairs. I grabbed my keys and sat her in the car.

"I forgot my purse!" She said as I put her seatbelt on.

I laughed,"You don't need it."

I got into the car and pulled off. My phone connected to the radio and first class start to play. Yes I became obsessed with that song after hearing it.

The mall wasn't that far which I was grateful for. For some odd reason, Avery wouldn't stop taking pictures to post on my Instagram. I parked the car and got out.

She grabbed my hand,"Are you sure you can't come with me this weekend? Lucas is coming with Silvia."

I wanted to laugh, no he wasn't.

"I'm sure Princess, I have a lot to do." I said pulling her towards the western store.

She looked at me,"What are we doing in a Western Store?"

"I need western clothes Avery."

I looked at all the boots and chose a black pair and brown pair. Avery picked up some ankle boots. I grabbed a pair of jeans, shirt, hat and belt. I have a jean jacket at home already.

Lucas called my phone.

"Leave out the store! They will get suspicious if all of us turned up to the store together!" He panicked.

"I still have to pay! If we do come across each other, only thing we say is,'This is what's in style'. Calm down, everything will play out." I said then ended the call.

I texted him.

And we're grown!!

He hearted the message. I looked around for Avery. She was already close to the counter. I walked to her.

"Are we going somewhere in the country?" She asked looking at all of the stuff.

I shook my head,"It's just in style. Are you ready?"

She nodded, we walked to the register and laid all of the stuff on the counter. I groaned making Avery look at me weird. This lady was taking forever!

"Avery?" I heard Silvia call out.

I sigh. Why did I think this would work? The universe has always been against me.

"Hey!" They both said at the same time.

"What are you guys doing in this store?" Avery asking laughing.

Silvia looked at Lucas.

I looked at Lucas.

Omg, omg, omg, don't laugh!!! Please don't laugh I'm going to give us away. I cried inside. Lucas was staring off into space avoiding me and Silvia eye contact.

"Lucas wanted some western clothes, he says it's the style now." Silvia said making her and Avery laugh.

But Avery's was forced, I swallowed,"It's funny because Cameron said the same thing."

The whole name? She knows something is up! Lucas started to back away. Please don't leave me boy! My plan will work Lucas!

"What? Where would they even wear boots to in this type of weather?" Silvia asked still not catching on.

To be honest I don't think Avery knows we are going to a party. She really have no evidence that say otherwise. Lucas and I do talk a lot.

"There is this party this Saturday at the bar around the corner from here. I heard a lot of celebrities and business men suppose to stop in for the Western Party." The Woman said ringing up the last item.

Lucas ran into the table of shirts. I'm not going to look back. If I look back I'm going to laugh. He gets so nervous, I got this under control.

I nodded,"I'll keep that in mind."

My hand couldn't stop shaking as I paid for the stuff. We've been caught.

"Are you okay Cameron?" Avery asked watching me.

I nodded and grabbed the bags. She stood back and talked more with Silvia. Lucas came up to me by the door.

"We we're almost caught! How did you do that?" He asked getting his breathing under control.

I looked at him,"They most definitely know Lucas. They are talking about it right now so don't look back. If Silvia ask you anything about Saturday, you will have to man up and say,'I'm grown, I do whatever I want to do.' Ok not like that but tell you want to just go hang out or some."

He nodded,"Sounds good."

Avery walked passed me making me follow behind her. She definitely knew. We caught.

Why am I surprised? The universe clearly hates me.

"Avery?"

She turned around,"Yes Cameron?"

"Why are you calling me that?" I asked rolling my eyes as she started back walking. We made it to the car and she still haven't said anything. I put the bags in the car and got in.

"Avery."

"Just take me home." She snapped.

We drove in silence all the way home. She got out and slammed the door.

"Burst the window then Princess." I mumbled following behind her.

"Are you really mad about a stupid party?" I asked grabbing her arm before she could go upstairs.

She snatched away,"If it's so stupid why did you have to keep it a secret Cameron?"

"It wasn't a secret, I didn't tell you because you wouldn't be here for it."

She laughed,"That's not the reason Cameron."

Am I really an open book? Ok then.

"I figured you wouldn't let me go because we're married." I groaned.

"Would you have stayed home if I asked you to?"

It's now or never. It's time to apply my advice that I gave to Lucas. I have to put my feet down, if not she controls the relationship. Oh poor Lucas, if it's this hard on me I can imagine how he is acting right now.

I shook my head,"Fuck no. I'm 19 not 26, im going to enjoy my years while it last."

"Okay. You should take the couch tonight." She turned and continued walking upstairs.

Sleep on the couch for one night of partying? I huffed, I'm not folding. I laid on the couch and pulled out my phone.

I texted Lucas.

Did it work? Are you in the clear?' I texted him.

He laughed at it then replied,'She put me on the couch! We're going to be Cowboys!'

I laid back and watched family guy. Before I knew it, I was fast asleep.

Until doors started slamming. I groaned and put the pillow over my head, she's doing this on purpose. I looked at my phone, 10:30 am.

"Avery I get it!" I yelled out.

The doors stopped. Until it started again. I got up, I guess I'll take a nap when she leave. I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth then washed my face.

I started combing my hair only to have the comb snatched out my hands.

I looked at her,"Give me the comb back."

"No, it's mines."

"You will only be gone a couple of hours you don't need one." I said trying to get it back.

She ran upstairs with me following behind. Why is she so childish? I literally married a child.

Am I considered a child for chasing her?

I caught her and picked her up,"Are you still upset about yesterday? My mother always said married people shouldn't go to bed mad at each other."

"Depends, are you still going to that party?" She asked wrapping her legs around me.

I sat on the bed and nodded. She frowned and started to comb my hair herself. When she finished, she grabbed her phone and took a picture of me.

I just stared. I look a mess why do she have to take my picture?

She put her phone on the bed and leaned closer,"Want to make out?"

"No." I said laughing.

Who still says make out? She's trying to put marks on my neck before tonight. I smiled at her innocence.

Her phone started to ring. I looked down at it. Dad? She answered it and put it on speaker.

"Hello?"

"Hey! How's my favorite daughter-in-law doing? Pregnant yet?" He asked while laughing.

Avery face dropped making me laugh.

"Should I be worried that your calling my wife phone?" I asked as I pull Avery closer.

"I'm calling to get in touch with you, you have a phone but you never answer it."

"I hope your schedule is free tonight. There is a big western party going on and you need to be there making connections. Our names is big in the business industry but bigger never hurt. Of course I would be going with you as well." He added.

I smirked at Avery making her roll her eyes.

"I'll meet you there at 8." I ended the call before he could say that the timing was too late.

I held Avery down before she could try to get up. She sigh and laid her head on my shoulder.

"This is the first day we haven't spent together." She mumbled.

"We have to come back home Avery."

"But women flirt with you when your with me, I could imagine how they will be tonight."

I laughed,"Do you trust me? If so you have Nonthing to worry about."

But we all know, that wasn't true.

The universe never been in my favor and I don't think it will start tonight.
