Chapter Eleven

As cliché as this sounds, I woke up to the best smell anyone could ask for. When was the last time I ate?

That's weird Avery never cooked before why start today?

I jumped up and looked around.

Oh no.

Avery cheated on me last night so fuck yes! I got up and pulled on my pants then my shirt. I walked to the bathroom and washed my face and rinsed my mouth out.

Going downstairs, I noticed Aurora only had on a big t-shirt. I grabbed my phone and sat at the bar. 5:50pm.

I laughed making Aurora look back.

"Well it took you long enough. I cooked." She said putting a plate of spaghetti and meatballs in front of me.

15 missed calls from Avery.

7 missed calls from my mother.

2 from my dad.

1 from Lucas.

When she walked upstairs, I called Lucas back.

"I'm glad to know you're not dead." He said on the first ring.

I laughed,"It was a long night, I probably didn't go to sleep until 7."

"Oddly, me too. Have your parents called yet? Everyone has been looking for us." He asked.

"They called. Are you not home yet?"

"Nope, eating dinner. But if I go back I'm going to your condo....if that's alright with you." He said burping.

I love Lucas, like my own little brother. Of course I didn't mind!

"Fine with me. See you soon." I said ending the call while finishing up my food.

Aurora laughed sending butterflies directly to my stomach,"You was hungry."

"Do you want me to take you back to your home?" She asked.

I looked back, she now wore a tight black dress with red heels and red lipstick. My god, she had a lot of tattoos, where was them last night?I stood up and nodded. Grabbing my keys and phone, I followed her out the house and into the garage.

She got in the all black Range Rover. I got and looked around, it was nice.

"You look good." I said still eyeing her.

She smiled,"Thank you."

When we got to my house, she parked the truck beside Avery's car then looked at me. I groaned.

"Don't tell me you want to get married too!" I said putting my phone in my pocket.

She shook her head,"Do you want to come back tonight?"

Woah okay. First I somehow manage to get a 29 year old woman on my own, then she gave me a blowjob, amazing sex, now she wants me to come back?

Maybe the universe did some good in my life.

"I don't know, I have work tomorrow." I said opening the door.

She pulled me into a kiss. Grabbing her and pulling her closer, she moaned when I forced my tongue into her mouth.

I pulled away to get some air. She laughed and wiped my mouth with some napkins.

"I'll go only if you agree to show me what you do." I said as she continued to wipe my mouth.

"What do you mean?" She smiled.

"Take me with you one day, show me how business is done." I groaned.

She nodded,"Don't disappoint me Cameron."

I jumped out the Range Rover and walked into the house. It was quiet, too quiet. I kept walking until I heard the tv on. Avery was sitting beside Silvia as they watched Criminal Minds.

Ok that's weird, they didn't even look up.

I walked upstairs and turned on the shower. I grabbed some clothes and put it into a suitcase.

After showering, I put on my short pants, sports bra, and another muscle shirt. Taking the luggage downstairs, I quickly put it in my car.

When I got back I'm the house, Avery wasn't in sight. Ok this is fucking weird.

I grabbed a juice from the refrigerator and went into the guest room to lay down. Five minutes into my nap, the door opened and slammed shut.

"Aurora? Really? One of the biggest drug dealers in the country?!" Avery yelled.

Biggest? I should've know it was a lie when she said small.

I laughed,"Go big or go home."

"I've been calling you all night and day." She said sitting on the bed.

I didn't answer. Who did she think she was? I've only been with her three weeks and every fucking day I was either stressed, bored, or annoyed.

"Im sorry about last night. I started drinking and thought you was off somewhere cheating." She mumbled guilty.

I texted Lucas.

I laughed,"I kinda was, just a little flirting."

I stood up as more of her tears started to fall,"But I respected you enough to do it in private. You was on the dance floor full of people, getting your brains fucked out."

"That's not wife like. That's a damn slut." I added.

She slapped me.

Hard.

"I told you I was drunk!" She cried out.

"Sober enough to get fucked."

She hit me again, and again, and again. I grabbed her hands.

"You can't hit me because you got caught. Get out of my room. You disgust me." I said pushing her towards the door.

She pushed me down on the bed and started sending punches to my face. Don't hit her, don't hit her.

Fuck that.

I swung and hit her in the face.

She cried out as her blows started to get harder. She just doesn't quit. The room door slammed opened and she was picked off of me.

"What is going on!?" My dad yelled.

I grabbed my phone and pushed passed him and the others,"I'll tell you, this arrangement won't work."

They all followed behind me into the living room. Avery dad started to come at me when he noticed her face.

I gave her a good lick.

My dad stopped him,"We don't know what happened. I won't let you do anything to my child."

"Don't worry dad, I can take his ass." I said wiping the blood with my shirt.

Lucas appeared,"And I will help."

"What happened Cameron?" My mother asked while tending to my face.

"Last night I caught Avery fucking someone on the dance floor at the party."

"What!?" All of them said at the same time.

My phone started to ring.

FaceTime call.

"Tell me you didn't do that sweetheart!" Avery mother asked loudly.

"Both of your nasty ass children did it."

Lucas laughed.

I answered the call and stepped out into the balcony.

"I was so close to turning in your driveway." Aurora snapped.

I laughed,"What's wrong?"

Silence.

"Cameron look into the camera."

I slowly looked up. I stared at myself in the little camera, man I looked bad. The called ended making me swallow.

I shrugged and walked back into the living room with yelling.

My mother walked over to put band-aids on my face and kissed my head. I noticed tears dropping on my head.

"What's wrong mother?" I asked pulling her close as the others argued.

She wiped her tears,"It's my fault you're hurt, I forced this upon you."

"Who knew she was a slut?" She whispered the last part.

Avery yelled,"Blame me all you want! But Cameron is sleeping with Aurora!"

Gasps was heard again.

Did I forgot to mention, THE UNIVERSE IS NEVER ON MY SIDE.

"Sarah, you and your family have to leave. The divorce papers will be sent to your house." My mother said as the front door slammed opened.

O gosh.

No one else heard that? Ok good. I'm hearing things.

Dad jumped in,"We can think of another way for them to be happy! Let's send them on vacation or something."

"No and that's the end of it!" Mother yelled at him.

Dad looked at me angrily and tackled me to the floor. He started hitting me in my ribs, face, eye. Lucas was immediately at my side while kicking and stomping my dad.

My own dad.

"Stop! Stop! Get off of her!" Mom cried.

I flipped us over and started to beat him just as worse as he did me.

"You are a grown man now it's time for you to act like it!" He yelled at me.

I hit him, again.

And again.

And again.

And again.

Big arms pulled me off of him.

He spit out blood and looked behind me.

"You're no better than your father."

I turned around, what does Aurora father has to do with anything? Please don't tell me we have the same dad!

"That's enough."

Oh no, I don't feel good!

Dad laughed out in pain,"Your mother doesn't want you to know that we were in a arranged marriage. She was in love with Aurora father. Now you're with his daughter."

Ok that's better than I thought.

"Get. Out."

Aurora men picked my dad up and carried him outside to his truck. Avery's parents looked at us and left. Avery sat on the couch, the entire time, watching me.

Mom walked passed her and into the bathroom.

"Get the fuck out Avery." I mumbled.

She stood up, eyed Aurora,"Trash."

Then she left.

Aurora had her men to wait outside as all of us sat on the couch.

"The lawyers is coming up with the papers as we speak." Mom said sitting down and rubbing through my hair.

"For me and you, goodnight you guys, I need to rest." She walked back to the front door and left.

Lucas went to the guest room and all that was left was Aurora and I. She put my head in my lap and turned on the tv. Eventually, I fell asleep.
