What comes to your mind when you think of a power couple? a couple who is successful in their own right. What if they told you that their definition of a power couple is totally different. 
 Meet Ophelia Alejandro, the CEO of PHELANDRO EMPIRE and the Queen of the dark business world too. She used to be a sweet girl. Up until they decided to take her whole joy away from her. The only song that plays in her head is the song of revenge. That sweet little girl completely forgotten and an Ice Queen has taken over.
Alright, just when you think you have met the coldest creature alive. Then the universe sends you Luca Giacomo, the CEO of the Giacomo Corporation. The man could freeze a person on the spot by looking at them. Literally. A man that comes from a distorted family who only cared about their money and reputation. He grew to hate his whole family after what they did to his most beloved, Lia. He never had the heart to love again.

THE CONTRACT MARRIAGE

'Well who is this piece of meat?' was the first thought that came to Ophelia's head while looking at Luca. She had seen different categories of fine meat but this one beats the rest. "Here is your spaghetti Carbonara ma'am" Luca dropped her food on the table. When he did, he was able to take a peak at her phone and he saw that she was on a dating site. He wondered what exactly she was doing on a dating site when she could easily find a man for herself that would beg to date her. Well, not him though.

He wanted to leave after delivering her food to her but she stopped him "I've got a business deal for you" Luca turned back to look at her. He was surprised but his emotions were not on his face. 'Who comes out with a business deal out of nowhere' he thought. "I don't do business ma'am" he said and tried walking away again but she persisted "It's not business like that. You'll have to hear me out first"

He did not turn this time and just replied "I'm busy right now. I can't talk" and walked away. "No worries sweetheart. I'll wait for you" she smirked to herself while admiring his retreating back. 'I caught a big one' she smiled as she completely logged out of the dating site she was on.

After cleaning the table of the last customer and doing the dishes, Luca told his grandmother that he was off and she wished him farewell.He went through the front and began walking to his car. On his way, he saw Ophelia smoking by her car. He looked closely at her car and saw that it was a CLE coupé. He drew near not because of her but because of the car.

Ophelia caught sight of him coming to her and she threw the cigarette on the ground stomping on it. She took a bubble gum out of her purse and threw it in her mouth after unwrapping it and waited for him to come to her.

As Luca drew near, he finally realized that she had been waiting for him. He thought she was only trying to play around but she was serious.

He got close to her and just said "CLE coupé?" Ophelia raised an eyebrow and replied "the only. You like?" He was tempted to reply with a 'yes' but he only asked her "why are you still here?"

'I like a man with an attitude' Ophelia smirked cause of her thought "did you think I was joking when I asked for that business deal?" She said to him "then why didn't you just wait in the restaurant?" He asked her

"I needed to take a smoke and nonna wouldn't let me do that. She said something about it taking away 4 minutes of my life with each drag" she said and laughed lowly. Luca stared at her with his stoic expression "what's funny?" He asked and she replied "I'm sorry. It's just that, at the end of the day, we all die. What's the difference if it's 4 minutes earlier? It's still death" her face turned solemn.

Luca stared at her and for some reason, saw himself in her. They were two different people broken beyond recognition.

When Ophelia realized she was speaking to a total stranger, her face turned cold and she stared at him.

"I have a business deal for you" she repeated what she said to him earlier but in her full on business mode and Luca decided to play along "alright let's hear it"
