Chapter 12

After twenty minutes of driving, Larissa gets to the hospital running towards the operating room. She runs into her friend, hugging her tightly.

"Hmmm" Camilla sighed tiredly.

" How is she," Larissa asked, finally releasing her from her grip.

"Mummy is undergoing her surgery now." She explained, losing in thought.

Larissa tapped her lightly and she looked up and smiled weakly.

"What happened between you and your boss " Larissa questioned her friend.

Camilla explained what happened between her and her boss, starting from the office till she get to his mansion and Larissa was surprised.

"What do you think he wants from me? Will he sack me? Because he mentioned it." Camilla said, making puppy eyes at her friend.

" Am not sure he will do that, let's focus on Mrs. Tyler right now, we will talk about Damien later."

After two hours, doctors started coming out of the operating room and the two friends ran toward them immediately.

" Doctor, how is my mother? Is she fine?" She asked, rubbing her hands together.

"The surgery was a success, we just have to wait for her to wake up, and you two should go home to take some rest, I will assign a personal nurse to take care of your mum." The Doctor said, walking away from them.

"Thank you, doctor, I am so grateful for saving my mum." Camilla bowed her head.

The two friends walked toward the hospital car Park while they drove home.

Damien is currently on a call, and he seems happy speaking to the person.

" Take care of her, and don't ask Camilla for any money," He said.

He was happy to hear the news of Camilla's mum.

He suddenly remembered his mum and sighed sadly

"I promise to avenge your death" He swore with a determined look

After a few hours of working in his study room, he finally went back to his bedroom to take a rest for the night. The room was full of Camilla's scents. He remembered his make-out with her and smiled to himself.

" How will I make her fall for me," He thought to himself.

He went to his bedroom, running the shower on himself while he touched himself softly, but after reminding how he kissed and touched Camilla, he went fast, and after two- minutes, he came heavily and smiled at himself to see the kind of effect Camilla has on him even without seeing her body completely.

He suddenly got an idea and heaved lightly

"I'll do just that," He said to himself.

The following morning, Camilla woke up early to prepare food for her and Larissa and prepared for the office. After packing her food box, she quickly went to the room to say her friend goodbye but her friend was already sitting on the bed working on her laptop.

"Good morning bestie," Larissa said, smiling.

Camilla quickly runs to her and hugs her firmly. " Thanks for staying with me always, for always having my back, I am happy to have a friend like you, " Camilla praised her friend.

"You know you are embarrassing right? I should be thanking you, I always run to you and Mrs. Tyler when am in trouble, " Larissa complimented.

" I want to see mum before I go to work,

" and I prepared your favorite," Camilla said, walking towards the door.

" I will check on her too when I am going to the office, " Larissa said, dropping her laptop to check out the food.

Camilla quickly walked to the bus stop and boarded a bus to the hospital, she walked to the ward where her mum was, and she saw her still sleeping. A nurse walked to her and explained to her mum woke up after the surgery and was currently resting so that she could check on her later. After hearing the good news, Camilla walked to the doctor's office to confirm what she heard last night.

" Knock knock knock "

" Please come in," a voice answered from inside.

Camilla quickly entered the office while she took her seat, opposite the Doctor.

" Good morning Doctor Daniel," she said, smiling.

" Morning Camilla, I am sure you've checked your mum, I can see you are smiling," The doctor said while clicking on his laptop.

" Yes Doctor,

" Sir, are you sure of what you told me last night? I just want to make sure what I am hearing is_" Camilla tried to explain herself before she was interrupted by the Doctor.

" Camilla, I don't know your relationship with Mr. Jones, but he already cleared all your bills, even in the future, he said I shouldn't ask you for anything." Doctor Daniel explained.

Camilla was taken aback, and she couldn't think of what Damien wanted from her.

" Okay Doctor, I will take my leave, I will come back by evening. Thank you so much" Camilla said, bowing her head and walking out of the office.

She checked her watch and noticed she was getting late already for work, so she quickly stopped the taxi. After 10 minutes of driving, the driver stopped in front of the company.

Camilla knew she was late already, so she started running toward the entrance while she made her way to the lift. After 3 minutes, she held out the lift and walked to her office. She trapped the door handle and push the door open but to her surprise, her desk is nowhere to be found

" I knew it, did he sack me already? I will have to beg him," Camilla said, running towards Damien's office.

Pushing the door open, Camilla walked in, facing her boss.

"Sir, please don't sack me, there is no way I can return the_" Camilla explained before she was interrupted.

" Sack you? Why will I do that?

" I only change your office, you will be using the office next to mine from today," Damien said, standing up from his seat as he walked toward Camilla.

His hand traced her cheeks, moving down to her neck. He used the other hand to hold her waist tightly. Moving down to her chest, Camilla finds herself responding to every one of his touches.

" Do you want me that badly? Have you had a crush on me before? " Damien smirked.

Camilla came back to her senses and she quickly moved away.

" Thanks for last night, I appreciate it, " Camilla said, moving her eyes away from Damien.

" You don't need to thank me, you will pay every bit of it," Damien smiled.

The two were disturbed by a knock on the door and it was opened.

Camilla used the opportunity to leave the office.

" Who is that hot chick!" Dylan exclaimed, looking at Camilla as she walked away out of the office.
