Restaurant Day 1

This morning's awakening felt different from the other typical days she was used to.

She entered the shower and relaxed while the hot water stroked her beautiful, pale skin.

She had no idea what the day would bring, but she had a good feeling about it.

She put a little mascara on, brushed her long blonde waves, and tied them in a messy bun.

She then grabbed a white shirt and tucked it into the black leggings of her choice.

With one final look at herself in the mirror, she smiled.

She experienced a sense of self-assurance and slight novelty that was almost lighthearted, and a warm smile appeared on her face.

It was an odd sensation, but it felt right nonetheless.

She took a new black purse and left the office after one more flip through the files before flagging down a cab.

She quietly dialed a number after pulling out her brand-new phone.

"Yes General, I'm on my way and yes I'll be ready by noon."
