I woke up this morning feeling emptiness next to me then I remembered what happened last night. I told David about Joseph (sigh) we watched a couple of movies then ended up asleep on my bed which I did and he did not. When did he leave? I never heard him leave? Oh well I hope I'll see him at the dog park today. I did my morning routine when I was done. I went to the kitchen and smelled peanut butter pancakes and cream cheese strawberry pancakes ...Yummy!... I saw my parents and my siblings eating already

"Hola familia, ¿Cómo están hoy? (Hi family, How is everyone today?) I said walking into the kitchen

"Really sleepy" Saeed said with Hazel nodding her head

"That's what you guys get when you guys stay up late" I said with a baby voice

"Shut up Esperanza geez"

"Do not give me that attitude Seed"

"Oh no you didn't you know and everyone else here knows that I HATE that nickname Eil-"

"(Beeeeep) you just went too far, Saeed you and I know that Joseph used to call me that name so don't you dare call me that. I would appreciate it if I never hear that name again, understood?" I was already running towards him to-to-gruh!!! But two arms stop me before I did, (sigh) darn I was so damn close

"Now Saeed don't call her that nickname" my dad said I stuck my tongue out at Saeed behind my dad's back

"Sorry dad"

"Don't say it to me but to your older sister"

"(Sigh) sorry Esperanza"

"Gruh do I have too?"

"Si" (Yes)

"Fine apology accepted"

"Hey where are you going Esperanza?"

"I'm getting food and can I eat while you talk?"

"Do not start with me, especially giving me that face of yours you know perfectly well that no guys are not allowed in your room. I understand that you were telling David about Jo-"

"(Clear throat)"

"About him. You could've gone to the backyard or a million other places you could've gone besides your room"

"Ok papi" (Ok dad)

"Good now off you go to school"

"Oh, oye ma y pa!" (Oh, hey mom and dad)

"Si?" (Yes?)

"Esta bien si David y yo vamos a al parque después de la escuela hoy?" (Is it ok if David and I go to the dog park after school?)

"Yes but come home before nine got that NOT after"

"((Sigh) w-why? Why can't I come at ten because we might bring the dogs early then go eat somewhere. Come on, it's Friday, please?" I said in my baby voice with a pouty face that I know it will change his mind; he can't resist me ;)

"Ok fine but you text us when you are on your way home but with-"

"Ok thank you, thank you a million times"

"Go Esperanza before I change your father's mind now" mom said

"Ok by-"

"Esperanza"

"Si pa?" (Yes dad?)

"But with a condition that is taking your sibling to school on your way to school for me"

"BUT!"

"ESPERANZA!"

"Fine but if I'm late to school then you know why"

"Ok bye"

"Bye!" The twins said

"Esperanza!"

"BYE!" I yelled back

............Fifteen Minutes Later.........

I parked my car in the senior section of the school when I got inside I saw David at my locker waiting for me

"Hi" I said while pecking his lips and then I opened my locker to put my bag away and getting my things I needed for the day

"Hi, so sorry that I left your house last night without letting you know but the reason is because you were so peacefully asleep that I didn't wanted to wake you up"

"Ok I understand"

"Also your family scares me since the first time I met them"

Sorry about that there protective over me and my parents are just like that I wouldn't change a thing I love them"

"It's okI just wanted to let you know"

"Oh yeah my parents let me go to the dog park today with you"

"Ok sweet I'll bring Bull and meet you there bye!" He left before I could ask where he was going cause we usually walk around the school before school starts

"Esperanza!" I turned around to see who called me

"What?"

"Can you forgive us we didn't mean to break our friendship with you and David please" Alex said in a hurt voice

"Fine but only because of two things"

"And what is that?" Jana said

"One you guys were my best friends I ever had since third grade and both of you have to either buy me pizza or ice cream today for lunch"

"I'M BUYING HER ICE CREAM!" Jana said quickly before Alex got the chance

"Ah man! That's cheaper than the pizza!"

"I know that's why I picked it (sticking her tongue out) what kind then?"

"I'll tell you at lunch"

"Ok" she said sliding her arm with mine so that way we will be chained together but I didn't let her

"I was not done"

"Sorry" they said

"Secondly that does not mean that I'm going to forgive you guys that easily"

"Ok" they said

"Hey E?"

"Yeah?" I looked to my right to see Alex

"Where is David he never leaves your side like never"

"Yeah Alex is right I usually have to fight with him to give me my friend back where did he tell you he was going? Class?"

"Well no all he said is that he was going leave and he left in a hurry but I'm guessing he is going to class because the bell is about to ring"

"Well me and Alex are heading to class before Mr. Bren tells us a lecture about his kids from last year how they are always come to class early and blah blah blah"

"Ok bye!" I waved to both of them before telling them to come with me and David to the dog park after school. They both said they would meet me at my car. I was walking to my class when I heard and unusual noise coming from the janitors closet I just kept walking thinking it was either other students or Caroline's and her one week stand meaning each week is a different guy

"Your a great kisser,David" I ignored it thinking it was either David Coldwell or David Walker and not David Dowden who's my boyfriend

"It's my specialty Caroline" I stopped and turned around while looking at the door with shock no I can't be him he just can't he promised me he won't. I walked to the door and opened it and saw Caroline on David's lap

"How could you David"

"E-Esperanza I can explain, please"

"No, you broke the promise you made me when we started dating" then I slammed the door and ran to my class. The whole day I ignore David the whole time when school was over I was walking out when I saw the stupid jerk face outside waiting for me. He was walking towards me on his knees when I was walking away

"Esperanza please forgive me she never meant nothing to me please"

"Just for that I will forgive you"

"Really" he said with hope in his eyes

"Nop-pe, ....." I said popping the p

"Because you promised me a promise. I was scared of making and from what I saw today you're with the freak'in slut I caught with my ex boyfriend! How will I forgive a person that promised me that they won't cheat on me" I looked at him dead in the eyes

"I made that mistake once and I won't make it twice"

"Come on E, you know I didn't mean too. You know that right of course you know that how could you not know"

"I know"

"Wait what?"

"You thought that I was for real well honey think twice because you are a stupid butt head that believes me even when I was sarcastic and what I was telling you stupid idiot...... Oh! Why did you do that?"

"You see wha-what happened was-"

"See you don't have a reason now, answer my last question for me, how long was this going on?"

"Well....you see....um-"

"DAVID! I AM NOT PLAYING AROUND!"

"Ok. Ok. Geez crazy lady-"

"Shut the f*** up and answer my damn question"

"Since six grade"

"What? For seven years that was before we started dating and you're still freak'in doing it since we've been dating!" Jana was texting me and told me that she and Alex were waiting at my car so I ran to my car. Alex was going to say something but I shook my head.so Jana told him something and he nodded at what and they both got in my car quickly and we left. The whole ride there was quiet and I was glad. When we got to the dog park we went towards the entrance to let our dogs loose and have fun. I sat next to Alex but Dali came with Míco and Meño right behind him. I didn't bring Wizard, Cici, or Duke because they are my cute old dogs and Dixie is still a puppy so I don't want to take my chances with all the other big dogs. While Míco, Dali, and Meño are my youngest in the family. Míco and Dali who are the littlest sat right beside me on each side while Meño went in between my legs and layed down so did Míco and Dali

"Ah that's cute E"

"I know right"

"What is cute?" Alex said confused looking around

"That!" Jana said pointing to my dogs

"Oh yeah!"

"Ok guys I gotta tell you both some-"

"Eww that's that's the ugliest looking dogs you have Esperanza"

"Meño sit, stay!" I immediately said when I saw him getting out and growling towards Caroline hey! I know what you're thinking but I can't we're in a dog park in one of the rules is that your dog cannot harm humans or any other dog

"Then why don't you leave so that way you can see your ugly poodles (No offense to those that have poodles. This was the first name that popped into my head when I made this book in 2019) and your minions, hmmm?"

"Oh! I just wanted to say that David-"

"La-la-la" Alex said interrupting Caroline

"Gross and disturbing too much PDA eww"

"But Alex" I tapped him on the shoulder

"Think about how many boys she kissed in the past couple of years also counting the new boys that come each year"

"Don't remind me and Jana gross!"

"Leave Caroline before we call the owners of this place on you" Jana said standing up in front of her
