Chapter 35

We conversed for so long that we lost track of time, if it wasn't for a text that was sent from Mary we would stay there till dawn. I don't know how we did it but the events of the night was far from our discussions. I don't know if it was done knowingly.

The yogurt girl was getting kinda antsy since she was waiting for us - her remaining customers- to be done with and leave, so she can lock up. Our frozen yogurts cups were empty so there was no need to stay in the shop again.

It was a little bit warmer outside now than before we went in, the wind has died down and the snow is slowly melting for now. Right when our backs was turned against the shop the waitress started locking up visibly already fatigued and impatient to go home. I don't blame her. I felt a little bad for delaying her.

We parked all the way down the street because there isn't really a free spot due to the shop being in a residential area.
