…..Nine years later.....

"Éstas son las mañanitas que cantaba el Rey David. Hoy por ser un día tan especial te las cantamos a ti. Despierta, Ricardo despierta;...…." I jumped when I heard that my family, friends, and part of the pack were coming into my room at twelve o'clock singing las mañanitas.

"...…Mira que ya amaneció ya los pajaritos cantan y la luna ya se metió" (Special Occasion Song Named 'Las Mañanitas') Once the song finished my mom came and gave me a little present

"Happy Birthday mijo (son) your gonna finally meet your mate and I just want you to be my little baby again and not grow"

"Ma (Mom)" I said smiling at her and then she gave me a kiss on the forehead

"Happy Birthday son" I got off my bed and then my dad gave me a hug

"Where's Marisol?" I said letting go of my dad. I was looking for my ten year old little sister

"Oye! (Hey!)" I then felt someone jump on me

"Oof... there you are, Sol" I slide her to to my front and tickled her side

"Laughing" only I call her Marisol, Sol which means sun in Spanish and everyone either calls her Marisol or Maria

"Ok I'm sorry" I stopped and let her down

"NOT!" I was about to get her but she ran away from me and out the door

"Sol!" I said smiling

"Hey why don't you open your Present because we have a bigger surprise after" my mom said touching my arm trying to get me to get back to what's going on

"Ok." I was already ripping the wrapping paper when...…

"I need everyone out of this room, now!" My dad said seriously that everyone ran out of the room. He looked like he was speaking to someone through mindlink

"Jose." My mom said laughing

"What?"

"Nada. (Nothing.) you called Marisol?" She looked at him

"Yes. She's on her way-"

"(Clear Throat)" I cleared my throat while looking at them

"Can I open it already?" I said shaking the box

"Recardo be careful! It could break and it's-" mom said looking afraid and was sad for some reason

"Ellie! Don't tell him what it is! We agreed to tell-"

"Ok"

"Hey dad! What's so important that you need to tell me?" Marisol said coming into the room looking at dad

"Siéntate (Sit down)" she came and sat down next to me

"What's going on?" They both ignored her

"Recardo you can open it now" my dad said and he sat down next to Sol and my mother sat next to me on the bed

"Uh? Who's this?" I said getting a frame from the box and there was a guy with both my parents. The three of them were smiling like I had never seen my parents smile like this at all. Dad and the guy I never met before were carrying mom like she was laying down on her side on the floor but she wasn't on the floor. I put it closer to my face to look at it better while I was still staring at the mysterious guy

"Oye! (Hey!) answer me, who's this guy? It looks like you both were great friends with him?" I said breaking my focus on the guy to look at my parents

"Yeah! Why are you both so quiet?" Sol looked at the photo and then at our parents

"Nino's (Kids) I don't know how to say this"

"Ma (Mom) just tell us, who is he? Our uncle? A friend of you both?"

"No he's....he's your father" she looked really sad

"What?" Sol said

"What? So he's that Roberto guy that you were crying about every time it was February 24?"

"Yes" my mom said

"So this whole time you told me that he was one of my uncles that I never met" I looked at them mad

"Yes we did. We never wanted to hurt you or Marisol-"

"But you? You didn't-"

"Wait! Then who is dad then? Our uncle's brother?" Sol said, confused and trying to figure out what was going on

"No he's your dad Marisol but Ricardo you have to dad's Joseph and your other father the one who named you Recardo which you already know his n-"

"WHAT!!!" I said surprised thou but more mad

"You both knew I was getting bullied when I was little BECAUSE of me having TWO DADS"

"Sorry mijo (son) I didn't mean for this to happen I just didn't want you to have the same hurt I had when I lost my mate YOUR father"

"But that's not the point I am mad at you both"

"What is that, son?"

"That you both lied to me when I asked you both when I was eight years old and YOU..." I pointed to mom

"You told me he was one of my uncles that died before I was born and right now you're telling me that he's not my UNCLE but MY FATHER! How did he really die this time and tell me the truth" I said standing up quickly

"Mijo (Son) please calm down-" my mom was going to reach out and touch my shoulder but I moved away

"No! Tell me what really happened! Is that why me or anyone else can mention the moonlight star pack?" I looked at them both and they had so much hatred in their eyes mostly mom did dad had some to but not like mom does but they were not mad at me but at the pack I wasn't supposed to mention

"Ok we'll tell you. Now can you stop pacing around, you're kind of scaring me" mom said looking at me

"Maria, why don't you look like you're not mad at us?" Dad said looking at Sol who was having the same face that she always had and that is a calm face

"I don't know maybe because I always thought you and you were only my parents but I don't know what to think-"

"So it is true Marisol your dad is Joseph but-"

"Ok so I don't have two dads, only one and Recardo has two?"

"Si (yes)"

"That's good you didn't get bullied when you were my age" I said a bit happy not because of being bullied or having two dads but that she doesn't have to go through the drama I went through

"What I wanted to say before your brother interrupted me is that I still want you to still count him as a close friend or maybe consider him your dad, ok? Whatever you want I just want you to not think he's just a stranger to you just cause he's NOT your father Maria"

"Ok. Can I leave and study more for my test tomorrow? Or do you want me to hear what happened to Roberto?" Sol was standing up and walking towards the door

"You don't want to hear what happened to him?" My mom said looking at her

"Yes but it's getting late and like what I just said I want to go study, please?"

"Yes I guess"

"Thanks, night"

"Hey Sol!" I called out

"Yes?" She stopped and turned and looked at me

"When I go to bed I'll let you know what happened to him ok?"

"Sure. Want the door open or closed?"

"Closed, good night hija (daughter)" dad said

"Night"

"Ok now tell me what really happened that day" I said looking away from the door to both my parents

....Afterwards...….

"It's been 20 years since I had the first dream with your father when he told me to name you, Recardo Gamez, Do you have any questions?"

"Yes, what is his last name?-"

"I wasn't done!-"

"Recardo! Don't talk to your mother that-"

"Gary, it's ok he's still mad-"

"No it's not. He doesn't need to disrespect you or any alpha! Understood young man?" Dad said in his alpha voice but it didn't sound like his voice but his wolf

"Gary can I get Joseph please? He apologized already" she went and hugged him and he hugged her back

"Ok. I'm sorry, Recardo but don't do that again, what was your question?"

"Yes sir I'm mom was that the last time you had dreams about him?" I looked at her when she sat with me on my bed.

"No, not everyday, just once and awhile I have dreams about him and his last name is De La Cruz"

"Why didn't I get his last name? But I got dad's last name?"

"Well I wanted to let one of your dads to either choose the last name or first. So Roberto picked your name" she then pointed to my dad (Joseph)

"And he chose to give you his last name"

"Ok. Well I'm gonna leave and tell Sol this or do you have something else to tell me about my dead father?" I looked at them while walking to the door.

"Recardo," mom said, hurt. I didn't want to see her face or I'll feel the pain she feels

"What? It's true isn't it?"

"Yes But don't just say it like you don't even care about him"

"Ok then bye!" I left my room heading to Sol's room I was hoping to find her there but I doubt it because knowing her she will be with Jocelyn who is in the same class as her but in case she isn't in her room I'll just tell her tomorrow morning when Mr. Ruben picks us up from school.
