A PAINFUL SECRET

Emma watched the two men with sympathy and a little sign of respect for the way they stared at each other whilst the others including Miss Rose looked at them with mixed feelings.

After a brief moment of silence between them, the professor spoke out first to Sean's earlier.

"Even though I personally want you to join us in this mission, I am not sure if you will be fit for this",

"Let me come with you",

Robert retorted but the professor stood up and placed his hand on Robert's left shoulder.

"We all know that you aren't in a good shape to leave right now",

"I know that but....",

"No buts, Robert. You are injured just like Matt though not severely but still, I can't risk your life for something dangerous",

"Neither can I remain here and watch you find the stones on your own knowing those monsters are somewhere out there",
