After a few seconds of silence in the room. The presenter shouted sharply

- FIGHT!!

With these words of hers, the hall was filled with the screams of the audience, pronouncing the name of Mada's opponent, Kina.

At this moment, Kin, without hesitating, attacked first...

He looked like an ordinary dwarf, not tall. He was not remarkable, but he was a magician, which was already a rarity among dwarves.

He shot Madu with a small fireball. However, the spell was not effective against Mada and he managed to dodge easily. And so Kin fired again, but Mada did not hesitate and decided to counterattack him. He shot lightning into the ball, forming an explosion. From the smoke that appeared, lightning hit Kin's hand, to which he did not have time to react, Mada teleported closer to the dwarf in order to continue the attack, Mada almost blew up the part of the arena where Kin was. However, he manages to avoid this, all by the same teleportation into the air. However, Mada noticed this and realizing that he was vulnerable, continued the attack.

- Great! Now you're vulnerable! Mada shouted to him.

And at that moment, he shot lightning at Kin, hitting him. He dropped dead. In this fight, Mada emerged victorious.

Some part of the crowd cheered, but still most of them were against Mada's victory and they almost threw tomatoes at him.

Mada quickly ran away from the arena towards the squad.

- Did you see how I did it?! - He asked them a question.

- Of course we saw you, you were cool! Gats answered him.

Suddenly they heard, already familiar to them, the voice of the presenter.

- So! In this fight, Mada won! The next match is Kagan vs Anaray!!

- WHAT?! Anarai shouted sharply.

- Calm down, you - Kana told him - he just has the same name and that's it.

At the same moment, two more participants entered the arena, but only Mada was watching them. The others were busy with their own affairs.

The battle of these two lasted a few seconds, Kagan defeated his opponent.

- (Why this dwarf... So huge?) Mada thought to himself.

And indeed, in terms of height, this dwarf was incredibly large. Kagan was slightly taller than Mada.

- (although the size justifies his strength..) - Mada thought again.

In general, it took 3 wins in battles to win the tournament. In the quarter-finals, semi-finals and in the final.

Mada, like Kagan, advanced to the semifinals. But in the battle with him, he did not have to enter. Each of them had their own rivals

- (I wonder if he will enter the final? And will I come in....? No! I just have to win here!) - Mada thought again, to himself.

So passed two more fights in the quarter. Mada was resting with friends, preparing for the next fight. And then the presenter again announces the name of Mada as a participant in the fight.

This time, he will have to fight with a stronger opponent, Rana.

They entered the arena and here again, the presenter says, without losing enthusiasm.

- FIGHT!

And so, Mada was about to attack, but the opponent beat him by shooting lightning at Mada.

- Wh... what?! - Mada said this while examining his hand, which was hit by lightning.

- (Oh no. It's bad... But I can still fight!) - Mada thought to himself.

- What kind of speed?! Anarai said.

- Gats... - Kana began - are you sure that Mada will win?

-...-Gats, initially kept silent, but after a few seconds, answered

"I don't doubt him. Gats began-  Have you forgotten that Mada is the strongest of magicians? He replied to Kana.

"You're right... We should not doubt him. - finished the conversation, Kana.

At that moment, Ran grinned, repeating his attack, but this time, the attack was unsuccessful.

- (he's incredibly fast!) - Mada thought to himself, shooting a lightning bolt into the Wound.

Ran also dodged and rushed straight to Mada to shorten the distance. Mada was ready for this, so he teleported right behind Rana and counter-attacked him with an explosion. Ran hadn't expected this, so he couldn't dodge it. Flying straight into the wall, Mada immobilized him, and later finished him off with lightning.

- Phew..Uh.. - Mada was just catching his breath.

- The presenter, as if not wanting to see Mada's victory, declared without enthusiasm.

- Mada won... - she said, not very loudly.

- Great! Gats said when he saw Madu approaching his friends.

- Yeah... - Mada was still catching his breath- I know...

Kana gave him water.

- Here, take it.. Maybe it will feel better.

Kana suggested.

- yes.. thanks.. - he answered her, taking a vessel of water, draining it almost to the bottom.

"Is your arm all right?" Gats asked.

- Yes, it just hurts a little, but I'm sure it will pass soon. Mada answered him.

A few minutes later , the presenter announced

- Last fight, semifinals! Kagan vs Aor!

and then she screamed again.

- The fight HAS BEGUN!! - she said loudly, announcing the start of the duel.

Mada, no longer watched the fight, resting, in the waiting room.

The duel between Aor and Kagan was not interesting. After all, it also ended in a few seconds, with the victory of Kagan. Gats watched the fight, instead of Mada, to tell him later.

There was silence in the hall after the fight, only rare staggers were heard from the audience. Everyone was looking forward to seeing such a close, for everyone, final.

And so, after a few tens of minutes of waiting, the presenter again announces the participants of the last duel.

- Mada and Kagan, to the arena!

The Magononia Tournament is an annual tournament in the only remaining dwarf settlement, Arnaul. Usually there are 8 participants in the tournament, because of the large awards. But in rare cases, there may be 16 of them. However, this happens only in the case of a large number of viewers and willing. Only magicians can participate in the tournament (This is evident from the name). After all, their fights are more spectacular than the battles of warriors.
