UNEXPECTED EVENTS

He was taken aback, and then came out of his thoughts, he nodded. "Yes, I would love to."

His label has told him to work for them, but that doesn't mean he is free from them, because he will still be working for them as well, they found him first.

"You don't need to worry, I understand where you are coming from," Clyde assured him and the directors nodded in agreement and raised their glasses for a toast.

Kaiden, who has never drunk any champagne in his entire life, didn't want to feel left out and draw attention to himself so, he pretended to sip the wine which he eventually drank the whole of it.

After a while, he was a bit tipsy and needed to use the toilet when he came across someone he didn't expect.

His ex-boyfriend.

"Woah, Woah,' he approached Kaiden. "Who could have thought I would be meeting my boring ex-boyfriend in Ambrose Empire, such a coincidence."

He was a quite handsome man, with long black hair, dark green piercing gazes, and pale red lips, he was more than six feet tall with tattoos drawn nearly all over his body and was quite built and muscular.

Kaiden, who was baffled, fixed his expression, glanced at him and walked past him without a word.

"I'm talking to you, don't you dare walk out on me." He forcefully grabbed Kaiden's arm, who just smiled with appreciation. He looked at Raymond's hand on his, sighed and said. "We've broken up, what do you want from me?"

They indeed broke up not more than a year ago, because of Raymond's infidelity and they both wanted different things, he then realized he never loved Raymond.

"I guess your fantasy of seeing the famous Clyde has come true, I bet the next thing that will be happening is getting in bed with him or have you warmed his bed already."

Kaiden pulled his hand off and glared at him. "My life is not your business, you and I have nothing in common, leave me alone."

"Just know one thing, he will break your heart to pieces and he's quite a playboy who doesn't like commitment, get that into your head." He slightly pushed Kaiden. "You reek of alcohol,' he laughed. "Since when do you drink alcohol, Kaiden."

"Leave me alone." He firmly spoke with annoyance.

"Let's see how you are going to last in this industry, I am here, Kaiden Jiang and I would be able to let you off easily, mark my words." He smirked and walked out on him.

Kaiden felt his headache coming, his eyes blurred with tears, he struggled to walk, his legs were shaking, oh, fuck.

He was in heat. Why was it so soon, he thought it would be two days later, not today?

He wiped away his tears, he just needed to look for the restroom, he panted, he tried calling someone to help but he couldn't speak out loud enough for someone to hear him along the hallway.

He decided to look for the restroom, he was nauseous and decided to throw up there, the alcohol was getting into his system, and he was going insane.

He felt relieved for a second realizing that he entered an unknown room. It was luxurious and beautiful, painted in white colors. He took a step forward, surveying the surroundings and noticed the bathroom was open, he ran inside it and puked on the sink relieving his stomach from aching.

He was tired after puking and washed his face from the sink, wiping away the drink he vomited. He moved away from the sink and wanted to walk out and then, he saw an Alpha.

He was mystified.

What was he doing here?

Clyde.

He was in his robe, he seemed to have freshened up and smelled so good like he just came out of the bathroom and folded his arms across his chest.

They both ogled at each other for a while. "What are you doing here?' Clyde looked at him with his eyebrow raised and then, he put his hand on his nose.

"Are you in heat?" He inquired.

Kaiden couldn't answer that and he felt dizzy and was about to fall when Clyde caught him in his arms, he lolled his head and saw how Clyde was staring at him with this lust and want in his eyes.

Does he want him, was the heat getting to him?

For a few minutes, they both looked at each other and Kaiden panted as he winced. "It hurts, Mr Clyde."

"Where does it hurt?" He fondly touched his face and Kaiden pointed at his abdomen.

"Please help me." He begged and tears streamed down his face. "I can't help it anymore, I need you, please." He pleaded with Clyde who was a bit surprised but the Omega's pheromones were quite thick and were getting to him, there was no time to think straight and Kaiden was in its spell, did he even know what he was saying at this point.
