Floyd Versus Anderson (2) & Karl Versus Luisa (1)

Floyd struggled to stand as Anderson charged toward him for the finishing blow. When Anderson closed within meters, Floyd activated his power, erasing his opponent's arm momentum.

"HE STOPPED THE ATTACK!"

Anderson felt his arm hit an invisible barrier. Though his first attack failed, he still had his other arm free and struck again.

Floyd regained focus just in time to see the second attack. He dodged right, and Anderson's punch sailed past his shoulder. From there, Floyd did the best he could to stop Anderson from moving and to win.

They traded blows, with Anderson feeling as if he was moving through mud or hitting walls when Floyd used more of his mana.

Floyd's strategy worked, but up to a certain point. Anderson knew how his power worked and constantly exploited the power's downsides to get around it.
