Danger at the shelter

—During Lain and the Blirdoth fight, a couple of minutes after Becker called Tiwana.—

The tremors of the explosions and the sounds of guns fired and of powers unleashed became clearer and easier to hear, even from the Yellow Palace shelter. That was worrying Erik to no end.

The main problem was that if these were easier to hear, it meant the battle was inside the city. In theory, the Yellow Palace's shelter should have been safe, but as things were progressing, Erik wasn't having a good feeling about the shelter's ability to resist an attack or the army to fucking take care of the mess they made.

Besides…

Regardless of the situation, Becker should have been able to give a huge hand to the battlefield. The problem was that Becker was not inside the city and was currently dealing with a threat much worse than the Heniate.
