Leaving Again

"Do you think that he is going to change his mind and take them?"

"Hard to say… it would certainly make sense for him to do so, but you know how he can be about these things."

Kanami was in the bedroom of her sister Malenia, lying across her floor with her arms sprawled out and staring at the ceiling.

Today was the day that their brother was supposed to leave for his next campaign, but there was a bit of a problem.

He was planning to go alone.

Abaddon refused to take his armies, the Euphrates, his children, or even his wives.

His reasoning for this was that this was to be his first confrontation against a god.

He had to send a loud message to the rest of them so that they could know exactly what to expect.

As of right now, they had most likely taken his words as no more than a few gusts of air.

But he would assuredly make them pay the price for their disbelief.
