Despite his earlier difficulty with meditation, Abaddon excelled at being quiet now.
He hadn't made so much as a single peep during the entire time he'd been back in his room. This was probably the first time that Bekka ever realized the her husband was not a particularly quiet man.
"...Loudmouth." She snickered.
"Hm?" Abaddon cracked open the eye on his forehead.
"I just realized that you have quite the loud personality. All other times except now, that is." She smirked.
Abaddon seemed slightly caught off guard. "I just wanted to make sure that you could focus properly."
Bekka smiled at him. "I figured. You're sweet to try, but it would probably help a lot more if you behaved like normal. Gave me something else to focus on other than my stomach eating itself."
Abaddon nodded slowly. "Right..." Suddenly, he was as nervous as when he first laid eyes on Bekka, and didn't know what to say to her.
