Every Witcher has a story

Zeke dropped the glass on a table.

"Come Luisa," he called, also gesturing it with his hands.

Luisa shut the door and walked up to him.

Zeke started the music from the beginning. "Dance with me shortie. Do you know how to dance?" He asked.

"No I don't. I don't dance because I just don't know how to and I never learnt how to- Where do you expect me to learn it from?!" Luisa questioned.

Zeke smiled but still took her hand.

"I don't know how to dance the dance of locals talk less of such a ballroom dance for nobles. I didn't know you could dance Zeke, never seen you dance before." Luisa continued. Her right hand went to his left shoulder as his left hand held her waist.

"Like you said, dance of the nobles. It was made compulsory for all noble blood to take dance lessons." He commented.

Luisa's head looked downwards at their feet. "Don't get mad if I step on you."

Zeke chuckled and they started dancing.

For the first few minutes they weren't dancing according to the rhythm of the music and Luisa really did step on him multiple times.

They would stop and laughed at every mistakes.

"I'm sorry," Luisa apologized again for stepping on Zeke.

"Take off your shoes," Zeke told and she did so.

"Okay. Now get on my feet," he requested.

"Really?" She asked.

"Hmm, it's fine. Do it." He replied and so she did. This time, both Zeke's hands went to her waist, while both of hers went to his neck and they started dancing again.

Zeke was in control of both their bodies and so, they swayed beautifully to the rhythm of the music this time.

Luisa was soon hugging his chest as they danced.

"I smell blood Zeke," she finally let him know.

He didn't respond.

She felt his grip on her waist tighten.

"Were you drinking-"

"No!" He cuts in.

"But it was some sort of medicinal wine made with a little bit of... Eagle's blood." Zeke explained. That was obviously a lie.

But Luisa believed him, at least that was what she wanted to believe. She just wants to trust him and the fact that he wouldn't lie to her.

"Okay." She responded.

"Your grip is really hard, Zeke," she mentioned and she felt it loosen up immediately.

"Sorry," he said as he leaned into her short blonde hair more. He just felt lost in her scent.

"When next are you going to Kimoira?" He heard her say.

"I'd be going tomorrow. The Witcher council will be making their final decision on the Li`cabur issue." He answered.

"I want to see the elf Witcher again. I have one last thing to ask of him," Luisa told.

"Alright, that won't be a problem." He responded.

"Thank you Zeke," she appreciated and hugged him even more. She doesn't know what she did to deserve him.

The next day, Luisa met with Klein Reynolds in that office again. It seems to be his office.

"It's really nice to see you again Luisa." He started.

Zeke wasn't with them, he was attending the council meeting.

"Likewise. I have something to ask of you witcher Klein," Luisa pointed out.

"Go ahead," he responded.

"Have you heard of the gift bearers of the elves?" She questioned.

"Yes I have." He answered.

"Great. Do you perhaps know where I can obtain a book that talks about or at least the knowledge of summoning them- Actually, summoning the gift bearers of the wood elves." She requested.

"Uhm..." Klein thought for some while.

"After you and Zeke left that day, you had me thinking a lot. About how much I had forgotten who I was after becoming a witcher. I was planning on visiting my clan again to see if my mother was... still alive." He mentioned.

"I never had the guts or mental strength to see if she was. After my father died, my mother and I were assaulted by the people my father owed and soon, they took me away from her as payment and sold me off to slave traders who in turn exchanged me to the Witchers. I saw the devastation in her eyes the day I was taken away from her, that alone was enough to kill her. But I want to see for myself." He explained further.

"Sorry for boring you with such details-"

"No it's fine. Every witcher has a story." Luisa smiled bittersweetly at him.

"What I'm trying to say, is that I can go to the chief of the clan or the elders, they must be in possession of such books or knowledge." He continued.

"That would be of great help to me." Luisa replied, elated.

"Glad I could be of help." Klein responded.
