An unexpected helper

Rain was like a mad dog unleashed before his time.

"Lyre!" He called out.

Initially, he was following the trail of the scents he got from the scene Lyre was once seen in.

And now, he was beside the river he intended to show Lyre, with no Lyre next to him.

"Lyre!" He shouted once more.

Frantically looking around, he had to make sure Lyre was nowhere near where he was.

Although the scent led to the river, Rain was reluctant to believe Lyre has drowned in the river.

Not only did they not hear a splash of water, he knew there was no way Lyre would have willingly fallen into the water.

"Lyre!" He called out once more.

This time he didn't just stand there to call him, he dived into the water.

He swam until he reached the last bend before the river spread out to become a sea, but there was no sign of Lyre.

"Lyre!"

He shouted at the top of his lungs, startling the birds in the nearby trees.

"Mom, we need to hurry!" Clar urged the mother to drive faster.
