The King

Agu glanced at the prince.

He so badly wanted to tell Rain of his lover. But he knew telling the prince that, now, will only disrupt the plans.

He needed to get the prince back to the Palace. Yet, he can't help but pray for the Lyre's safety.

"Lyre will be thrilled and jealous when I tell him about this world." Rain sighed, thinking of his merman, whom he thought was still at home.

"You can bring him here some other time." Agu glanced up, hoping against hope that Lyre will be safe. If not, he will be in for much worse than death should anything happen to him.

He was the cause of it, after all. If only he alerted Rain of Lyre's presence, or closed the portal in time, this wouldn't have happened, at all.

"That's a great idea!" Rain beamed. "Should things go as planned, I will bring him here."

"That's the best." Agu nodded. He pointed to the distance. "We are almost at the palace. Are you excited?" He asked, not looking a bit as excited as he should have been.
